"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Mongolian Beef at this restaurant. The sesame chicken was also delicious, with a nice crispy texture. My meal came with a tasty side of fried rice as well. However, my soda was missing a cup and had some black residue on top of it. Despite this issue, the food was overall very delicious."

never visited this restaurant physically, but ordered dinners with the departure from here. Eating were always delicious and fresh. Prepared for time and cheap. So if they are not in the mood in the late evening to visit a restaurant, but want to eat in the hotel after a busy day, this place is a good option.

I have never dined in this restaurant in person, but I have ordered take-out dinners from here. The food is consistently delicious and fresh, always prepared on time and at a reasonable price. If you don't feel like dining out late at night but still want a tasty meal after a long day, this restaurant is a great choice.

"I 'm late in reviewing as I visited Pingo back in March of 2019. Pingo is one of the most recommended eateries when in Nome for the Iditarod. There is never a time when they are open that they are not busy the week the biggest Alaskan sporting event comes to town. My first trip to Nome we never made it into the place because the wait was always out the door. This place is very small and it 's family style seating meaning if there 's a table and chair available anyone can sit down. The food is fresh and made to order, in an area where ingredients aren 't cheap and can be sparse, there 's no waste... however portions were surprisingly big (seriously their side salad could be its own meal). They have flavorful ingredients, and they know how to make those flavors meld. I had the Roast Beef with Au Jus and blue cheese and the side salad with blue cheese dressing and extra cheese crumbles. Because everything is made to order, the wait was a little longer than my stomach was happy about, but the wait was totally worth it. You can see them make the food kitchen is just a step away from the tables and is open. As stated the salad was large size with fresh veggies. Not your standard ice berg and carrots either, lots of other fun treats. Dressing was super yum as well. I loves me some blue cheese. They asked if I wanted extra blue cheese crumbles and I said yes, but really I didn 't need it as the dressing was VERY cheesy already. The sandwich. OMG. I am now tempted to hitch a plane ride right now for another. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese was once again generous. Au Jus was warm and not too terribly salty I wished there was just a little more in the cup, but honestly SO good that it 's forgiven. Other than the wait, this is a fantastic option for food. But if you 're in a time crunch, probably not the best idea unless you 're just grabbing bakery goods. I cannot wait to come back and eat again on my next Iditarod Adventure."
