"I'm visiting from out of state and had no expectations on what type of pizza place I was in for. Purchased the large 16 margarita pizza with hand tossed crust and WOW! Dare I say this was one of the best margarita pizzas I have ever eaten. Sauce was 10/10 outstanding, crust was delicious, cheese was generously portioned without being overwhelming and melted perfectly, and toppings and seasonings were right on point. The only reason I haven't attached a picture of this beautiful pie was that we devoured it too quickly. Although the pizza was a bit higher priced than competing places, it was sizeable, so delicious, filling, and the ingredients were so fresh I didn't mind paying a bit more for taste and quality. When I come back to the area there's no question in my mind that I'll be returning to Tony Maronni's!"

"It was a challenging night at the restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food, and our toddler meals didn’t arrive until half an hour after we had ordered them along with our drinks. Eventually, we told the waitress that we needed to leave. She was very kind and ended up comping our entire meal, for which we had only paid $30 for three beers, a glass of wine, and two kids' meals. Three of the four adult meals were packaged up, as one of our group decided to forgo his food since it was still being prepared. The place was extremely busy, but we managed to cope with it. However, it was disheartening to overhear the manager blaming the problems on the new hires and younger employees who were working that Saturday night. She spoke to several tables that had complaints, and it was disappointing to hear her throw her staff under the bus."

"Pretty good steak sandwiches not a whole lot of taste for beef though. Very good pommes. I had better cheese steak sandwiches in my travels, the real picante provolone used instead of the no taste mild. Cousin's was expensive, in my opinion, when I moved from the NYC Metro 20 years ago. You're much more expensive now. If I could go 3.5 stars, I would. If I want a steak sandwich and I have no time to make it myself; that is the best option. I just put my own Boar's Head brand Picante Provolone on it."

"One of us had the Mexican Thursday special. The chicken chipotle burrito. The burrito was packed with cubed potatoes. So disgusting. Tiny little pieces of chicken. Like barely any chicken at all. Nothing else. No lettuce, tomato, cheese, rice, peppers. Just potatoes. $15.00 for that! I?ve given you guys like eight chances and only because Sussex doesn?t have many options. The picture on the right is from google images. That?s what it?s supposed to look like. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was good. A very disappointing night out for a $60.00 bill because one of us left saying it was the grossest thing he?s ever eaten. No I did not tell our server Austin because I could tell from the beginning he wasn?t the type to care. I also asked if you had cherry vodka and you didn?t. Five minutes later I see the other bartender use raspberry vodka. That would have worked. I wish Austin would have gone a little above and beyond and recommend another option. I always say, if you wouldn?t eat it, don?t serve it."

"I feel like I 've lost an old friend.Stopped in a few weeks after the reopen. The place looked pretty nice. I liked the more open feeling.It took a bit to get used to the order by app or order at the bar deal, but we figured it out.Food was just OK. Burger was well overcooked, the fries were fine.I had to do mental gymnastics to understand the suggested 20% tip when servers are less involved with my experience. I split the difference and went 10%.Tried it again tonight, several weeks after the reopen. It doesn 't feel like things are getting better.Had to order at the bar because the app 's menu has almost no description of items. Zero info to describe my beer choices, no info as to what fish tacos consist of, and no idea what sidewinders are. Questions were answered at the bar, but it took 2.5 people to do it.My wife 's fish tacos were not good, not much flavor. My chicken strips were, again, well over cooked.Once again, the suggested 20% does not ring appropriate. Your servers are bringing food and picking up plates, but they are not trouble shooting ordering issues, and they are not refilling drinks. I had to go to the bar twice to do business, and a third time to fix an error on my bill.Here 's the bottom line Belfast Station:1- The menu has changed, but your quality has slipped.2- I understand the labor shortage has caused you to try something new to serve your customers, but it doesn 't seem to be working all that well.3- Tips are still meant to be earned, not expected. Your current tipping arrangement smacks of socialism, a model most would agree, does not encourage quality work behaviors.4- Your responses to the poor reviews you 're receiving sound more like explanations about how your customers are wrong than about acceptance of what may just be well-intentioned criticism."
