Wow. The difference of taste in these cookies from the Jewish delis I know growing up, can’t even compare. All of the cookies are so delicious. Their cakes are huge and unreal. Funny enough, a week after I tried it here .. my friends grandmother got a huge sheet cake for her birthday party. I can’t wait to try more here!

Looked up best pastries in Philly and this bakery was #1. Walking around the corner we could smell the goodness. Walked in and there were so many choices I couldn’t make up my mind. Had a sample cannoli and I must say delicious. We ended up with a fruit tart, 1/2 lb of butter cookies and a pecan tart. Everything was fresh and oh so good. Worth every penny

We had the absolute pleasure of having Isgro Pastries make our Wedding Cake for the Arts Ballroom. We did a tasting box of their pound cake and it was so easy to pick up, taste, and then contact the shop for our wedding. The cake came out exactly as we ordered it and it tasted phenomenal!! Be sure to grab a ticket when you enter. I bake semi professionally so I don't say this lightly their cakes and pastries are among the best I've ever had and I'm happy to give them all my money haha cakes are fresh, moist, with a beautiful crumb, icing is flavorful and doesn't have too buttery/greasy mouthfeel. The torrone is out of this world, the ricotta cookies are among my favorite but I also really like the pasticinni! Everything I've tried is delicious recommend them for all of your baked needs! There's usually a line on weekends so just give yourself a little time and order large cakes ahead of time so you get what you want.

I found this place while looking online for the best cheesecake in the Philly area… Isgro DID NOT disappoint! The ordering online process is a breeze, and when I went to pick it up I was so happy with the service here. The ladies that work here are so sweet, and I have to add that I’d like to bottle up the scent of this place as it smelled absolutely incredible. Back to the cheesecake- easily the best in Philly. I’ve ordered the fruit topped and the red velvet so far (among other pastries that were delectable), and my family couldn’t believe how good it was. 10/10 highly recommend this bakery to anyone and everyone looking for melt in your mouth desserts.

Wow! What can I say? This was my first visit to Isgro Pastries. There was a line outside and 12 people waiting inside. We waited approximately 20 minutes outside before we got inside to get our ticket to wait inside. It is well worth the wait! Everything looked delicious, the store was neat and clean. The customers were fantastic because I had to look at everything in the displays. It was difficult to decide what to purchase. We ended up getting cannolis, key lime pie, chocolate covered strawberries and assorted biscotti. Well, they were all so flavorful and delicious! The staff was friendly, efficient and patient.
