"I tried to call the restaurant to resolve the issue, but they didn’t answer. The next day, I called again and spoke to a woman who said she would connect me to the owner, but instead, she hung up on me. When I tried to call back, she ignored my calls, likely blocking me. I was seeking a refund for the soup, as that was the only part of my order that was acceptable. To anyone considering ordering from them online, I wouldn't recommend it. They clearly don’t stand behind their products, and sending out that gyro felt like a deliberate attempt to take my money. Their lack of communication only confirms my suspicions about their practices."

Great food, great service. Got the mixed appetizer, chicken Adana kebab platter and my brother the Turkish dumpling platter. Amazing!

The restaurant owners are still the still, restaurant name change filed, fake reviews food delivery websites, restaurant drama, etc. Çağdaş Boleyn Gormez

Delicious and chewy, the Minti is always a favorite among my guests! I feel incredibly grateful to have fresh and tasty Turkish mezze delivered right here in Park Slope!

This 5 star is for the previous chef/staff. I’ve noticed the taste has changed. It isn’t the same. Please bring back the old chef. New one is good too but the food was soo much tastier before. View menu

The adana was dry and tasted terrible. The chicken chops were disappointing as well. Overall, the food was overpriced for its lack of flavor and the dryness of the overcooked dishes. The meat quality was subpar. Food rating: 1/5.

3 starts for the good times we have had. And 2 stars off for the bad fries and cold food that was delivered 1 hour and 30 minutes late. This is one of our favorite take out spots in our neighborhood, so it sucks that our food was cold, dry and stale. Fries tasted like they had been out all day. The fries are one of my favorites because they always have a thicker cut and they give you so much, this was dissatisfying

We've ordered from Istanbul Park for years and it's always been amazing. That's no longer the case. Today, the meat was dry and the bread was stale. So disappointed. Love this place for so long and now can't recommend it anymore. Did it change ownership or chefs? Please bring back whoever was cooking before because this food now makes us sad. Used to be so tasty. Let us know if it improves back to how it used to be. View menu

Our food arrived cold and a much less amount for the large and expensive order of the Doner Platter. As a family, we have ordered this many times and had a large of amount of food. AND we received Mexican tortillas instead of pita bread for our hummus. This was an expensive meal with a beyond disappointing outcome. You can't reach anyone at the restaurant to discuss your order. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Maybe the ownership changed, but something happened to the quality of the food here. It used to be delicious and generous. I used to love the İskender kebab--I went to Istanbul last fall and had İskender kebab at some reputable places there, and I actually thought this restaurant executed it better. I've tried to order it here several times since then, and they always tell me they ran out. Maybe the new owners don't know how to make it. The quality of what they do give me has gone downhill. Things are relatively overcooked and bland, poorly prepped, and stingy. It's very disappointing--I used to look forward to the food here.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
