"I had a horrible experience at the Ixtapa in Lake Stevens. The sauce on the burritos was bitter. I was charged $2.00 for sour cream that was supposed to be on the burritos to begin with. The refried beans were very watery and the rice had no flavor at all. The waitress was very cold and didn’t seam to want us there. I grew up and lived most of my life in Arizona eating and making Mexican food. This was some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I will not patronize this restaurant ever again."

The food was good, and the service was also decent. However, charging nearly $30 for just a burrito and a soda in a casual restaurant feels excessive. I recently paid around $20 for a similar meal at La Terraza.

Tried out this restaurant for dinner. Food was just okay for the price ~18$ an entree. The chips tasted off, like they used an odd or old oil to fry them in. Place also smelled like a chucky cheese, if that’s helpful at all. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

The food is delicious and the service is great. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my partner had the steak, both dishes were well-seasoned and not too long of a wait. We also enjoyed the mango daiquiri and a beer. I would highly recommend this restaurant, we arrived on a Wednesday after 1pm and there was no wait. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience! I love Ixtapa in Snohomish, but Lake Stevens does not compare. I ordered the tacos that I typically get as street tacos, but I received dry corn tacos instead. When I informed the server that the meat was tough and dry, she simply said it was fine. The service was not good. I will stick to Snohomish and Clearview, but I will not be returning to Lake Stevens.

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. The bar is always busy. I have never dined in the restaurant area, but it seems nice. The restaurant is situated in a large strip mall next to Ace and Apotheke. There is plenty of parking available. The reason for giving four stars is that I frequent this place often, but I feel that the alcohol drinks are weak.
