"Staff rushed us through our meal since they needed the table for a later party. Totally understandable — however, they told us 3x. First the hostess when she ‘welcomed’ us and said we had to ‘leave’ within two hours of our res — not the warmest greeting. We ordered a bottle of wine and six plates for two people. We were not checked on once. Food was decent, though there are much better Izakayas in the city. They kept clearing our plates, even when we had plenty of food left on it. Toward the end … – show"

Lovely sushi spot in Nomad. Food takes a while to come but very flavorful and filling. Waiters are attentive and nice.

Ordered three skewers, gyoza, seaweed salad, onigiri, okonomiyaki and the galbi plate and each dish was flawless. I’ve been to a fair share of izakayas and this is the most well-rounded I’ve ever been to.

Not sure why this spot scores 4.2, the food was unbelievable legit. We tried the squid and ribs as main the roll as a starter to share. Everything was perfectly prepared fresh! Highly recommend this place if you are in nomad. View menu

Very cool Japanese restaurant with a lively atmosphere and quality service. Attention to detail of decor and design was appreciated. We ordered about 7 or 8 menu items and it was good — probably a little small in portions than I expected, but enjoyed by all

Finally a place we could call home, the flavours, the menu, the sake and food. The asparabacon and bacon was impressively well done, I missed clicking the tsukune, but that was awesome too. You don’t get the joy of making the okonomiyaki on your own but the taste is super. Highly recommended authentic Izakaya

Food was kinda average here, came here with a friend for dinner last week and wasn’t that impressed… tried a bunch of dishes from tofu to grilled squid, beef tongue, chicken skewers, purple yam fries, mushrooms and nothing really stood out. I’d recommend finding other spots to check out over this place. Friendly staff though but they’ll give you the bill when your time’s up to prep for the next group, even though the place was pretty empty. View menu

If you want the manager to yell at you…go ahead and have fun! If you’re not a fan of that, not recommended! On a Saturday night, the waitress told us that we needed to wait for 1.5 hours for 8 nigiri orders due to a large order. We found this very absurd and asked them if they were blocking the whole restaurant for 1.5 hours. She said, “let me get my manager.” The manager came shouting, “DID YOU ASK FOR ME?!” (no, actually, we didn’t) And yelled at us, saying that “they’re not a sushi restaurant … – show

Used to come here a lot as I lived close by and foods were good. Today, came here again with a reservation after COVID. AWFUL experience. Stayed here from 630 to 8pm. They came bugged us several times: reminding us to give them back the table by 8. Asked us to order more foods once the last dish arrived, when we said we didn’t need more foods, they asked us “more drinks”, then again and again, even before 730pm, half hour before they want the table back, “u need to give us back the table by 8pm” … – show
