"Great little place for lunch! Fast service with very friendly employees! Thr food was amazing and the portions are generous! I had the bacon bomb sliders with the Buffalo fries! (shredded chicken tenders on a bed of fries with shredded cheese drizzled with ranch and Buffalo sauce!"

"This Texas pit BBQ restaurant is fantastic. I travel extensively and try BBQ all over the country, and this was one of the best I've had. I ordered the three meat plate and the brisket was exceptional - tender and flavorful. The sausage had a deliciously less dense texture that I really enjoyed. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had. The sauce had the right amount of kick. The peach cobbler was so good, it felt like a crime to eat it. Even though I usually dislike potato salad, I finished this one. The beans were also solid. Ed, our server, was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit."

"December 2021 We sat upstairs and there was only one waitress. She was prompt with taking our drink order and brought them out quickly. Our food order wasn't taken until an hour later, it also came quickly once it was placed and the food was good all around. We enjoyed our time as we were there for my mom's birthday dinner but if it were the same for just a family dinner I would've probably been frustrated. We tried to lighten the mood with the waitress who wasn't unpleasant but also not friendly, possibly due to the lack of help, but in my opinion that should not reflect to the customer. Overall I will go back but I hope they can fix the few issues to turn this into a 5 star rating. Update May 2022 Went in for mother's day dinner, we had a great time and food once again was very good. There was more staff on this visit and everyone was very pleasant. We were able to put our order in quickly and got our food in a timely manner. Everyone was pleased with the quality and the portions are good. Very pleased to raise the rating from the 3 stars I gave in my previous review as we have always enjoyed La Bodega and I look forward to returning."

"We went to breakfast and I had the Machaca, it was great! My girlfriend had the asado with two eggs over easy and it looked and tasted beautiful! I also had the Asado plate for dinner and it was very delicious! The queso fundido with chorizo is also bomb. The children always enjoy the chicken strips and Fajitas. The service here is also super friendly and fast, a beautiful small place everything in everything!"

"I ordered the pasta sampler, while my partner chose the mahi mahi and pasta dishes. Instead, I received a plate of lasagna. When I informed the waitress that this was not what I had ordered, she insisted that it was what the cook had given her. I pointed out what the menu stated was included in the pasta sampler, but she maintained that I was mistaken because that was what the cook provided. Additionally, my partner’s fish was not cooked properly and looked like it had been poorly presented. We were both very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant. I cannot recommend this place."
