"Meh...I'm sure this place gets a lot of overflow from the place next door. Went for lunch around 1:30 on a Friday. Service: 2-3 visible wait staff. The place was somewhat full but, there were several empty tables with dishes on them.Sign at the door read, seat yourself. We had to find menus. Only table was where one of the waitresses had her laptop, clothing and drink ware. We were told we could sit there but, never put her stuff away. Took forever to get drinks and food. No very friendly but somewhat tentative. Food:Drinks were big glasses of ice. Cheap quality and quantity food. The club sandwich consisted of mostly bread, in which you have no choice of and the use processed American cheese. 1 slice of pressed ham and turkey. The bacon cheese burger had 1 strip of bacon cut in half that, tasted like bacon bits, no choice of cheese (got the same processed cheese) and no choice of how to cook the meat. It was a thin patty to no surprise. When our food was served we saw a very small amount of French fries on our plates. Go thing because they were so undercooked we passed after a few of them. They were cold greasy unseasoned fries. Bathroom:Men's room door doesn't lock unless you Jimmy with it. Dirty but, guys don't care. Ambiance:It's a family restaurant so expect a screaming kid or what we heard, 2. Overall not a good experience with anything.It's located in a charming building but, there's nothing charming about the experience. Good luck if you go because, we will not ever go back."

My children and I tried the fried pork chops at this restaurant and they were delicious, as were the sides!

Food had zero flavor or seasoning. Worst chicken fried steak I've had in my life (soggy and mostly batter, no flavor in the meat what so ever). Wasted $25.00 and all I ate was the okra.

Worse food ever, raw chicken fried steak with tons of coating. Cold mashed potatoes with dried gravy on top. After we complained they just heated up the already bad food. I will never go here again! View menu

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, but unfortunately the service is lacking. On Mother's Day, my party waited for two hours and never received our food, just like two other tables who also left. It was really disappointing.

We tried to eat at Reba’s but it was 3 1/2 hour wait. Went over to Jackson and waited an hour. The food was cold. Husband ordered a BLT and they put a 1/2 piece on small bacon on both sides. Told the red headed waitress she got very mad and upset at us. Ordered piece of pie never got it. Never going back.

Went to Reba’s and didn’t want to wait 45 mins so stopped in here. Wish we hadn’t. Got the fish special and it was extremely salty, the beans were cold and there were maybe 10 French fries, hush puppies were decent at best. Hubby ordered hamburger steak and his whole plate was cold. Took forever to get a waitress’s attention. He’s very laid back and easy to please but asked her to microwave it to warm it up. This restaurant is a hidden gem that is definitely worth trying, even though it may face tough competition from its neighbors. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Miss Sarah, a Jackson native, provided excellent service with a pleasant attitude throughout our visit. The restaurant's remodeled interior is impressive, with a stunning bar, unique bathroom doors, and a century-old safe used for storage. This alone is worth a visit. Give this charming restaurant a chance - thank you, Sarah. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by.

Thought I would give them another try, went for breakfast Saturday morning, only 6 people at one table when we got there. Waitress was good got our order and we waited about 30 minutes and my wife asked if it was going to be much longer we would pay forcoffee and cancel orders. She checked and said another 5 minutes, ok it finally came. Just a simple breakfast $8.99 for eggs sausage and hash browns. Eggs should have been scrambled but they looked fried and chopped up, hash browns were dehydrated but were not soaked long enough cause they were hard and tough. Coffee was some if the worst I have gotten. Not a good coffee. Sorry Jackson's you failed again. Not going back!
