"Our meal started with complimentary cornbread for the table, which was incredibly tasty. For our appetizer, we ordered the oxtail mac and cheese, and it was absolutely fantastic—I could have easily eaten ten of them! It was a bit messy due to the drizzled sauce, but the flavor made it well worth it. For the main course, I enjoyed the salmon with risotto and vegetables, which was delightful, while my husband savored the ribeye steak. We’re definitely looking forward to returning, but next time, we’ll likely focus more on their drinks and appetizers, as they seemed both unique and appetizing."

We had an amazing meal! The portions are generous for the price you pay.

No hostess, one waitress for entire floor. Food was decent. Decor was hodgepodge. Needs improvement

The restaurant has no one to greet you. I sat down and started looking at the menu before anyone came out of the bar to help me.

We tried the Sunday brunch. We loved the jazz singer but the food took extremely long to come out and we only had omelets so nothing too fancy. Otherwise, very nice and will try it again to see if the timing improved.

This was my first time dining at Jagrah's and the food was phenomenal! We went for an early dinner and got a chance to meet Jesse the owner and had an awesome conversation. I have recommended Jagrah's to several friends in the past three days. It is a hidden gem!

I absolutely LOVED the food. I drove from New York City to meet with my best friends, and it was well worth the drive. We had the opportunity to speak with the chef, and he was humble and very pleasant. Me and my friends and I are definitely going back and recommending this spot to anyone and everyone. View menu

Really enjoyed the food at Jagrah’s. The menu is a well-curated and sophisticated interpretation of some classic Southern favorites. We enjoyed turkey wings, oxtails, catfish, cabbage and other classics that one doesn’t expect to find in an upscale Country Club environment in Princeton. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was a terribly disappointing experience. The food was bland and some of the traditional dishes like shrimp and grits were inedible. Our server chose not to write down the order for our table of 5 and proceeded to get the drinks and the food orders incorrect. This is more of a school cafeteria than a restaurant. I would have cancelled the reservation and walked out the minute we walked in, had it not been for the $20/person reservation cancellation fee… Poor experience.

"Update: 4/10/2022 Came here recently with my wife on our way back from Philly. Hadn’t been here since the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised to see that this place was still here. Ordered the same thing I always do and quality is still good. I’m so glad this little gem of a place is still in business. Prices have gone up a little but so has everything and most restaurants since the pandemic. A hidden gem. Ok, so it’s not one of those fancy Tokyo or New York quality sushi but then again, you’re not paying $500 for dinner (per person) either. I always eat the same thing here — the battered squid dinner plate or lunch, if you’re having it at lunch, with a squid roll and it comes with salad, too. My wife orders the Sushi Boy A or B. It’s a combo plate of such I. And there are lots of other great choices. So far, everyone I’ve taken there, really like the sushi. By the way, my wife is Japanese and she loves sushi (she knows what’s authentic and what’s not). I’ve been to so many of those all-you-can-eat sushi buffet joints where you pay anywhere from $12-20 per person but always end up disappointed. No one would expect to find this place...It’s in a hidden food court surrounded by stores like Gymboree and offices, etc near the Westin hotel in the Princeton Forrestal Village square. While it may be off the beaten path, this place will not disappoint. I’ve been going there for at least 7 years."
