"Small diner atmosphere. Service was great, friendly and attentive. Mixed reviews on the food. I had the blueberry pancakes, thank goodness I ordered the short stack, they were the size of the plate! Served hot they were delicious! I wish I had taken a pic. Coffee was good, served hot. The bacon was just crisp, perfect for me. 2 other peeps at my table had the biscuit gravy, both stated it was okay, but not great. Felt the gravy was to thick, with little sausage. Overall, I would definitely go again. "My family visits this restaurant a few times a year since we have relatives in the area. The drink selection is always great, and the smoked chicken wings can’t be beaten. Usually, the service is satisfactory, but our last experience was less than ideal. The male bartender/server we encountered was rather unfriendly towards our group. We followed the sign’s instructions and waited for a table, choosing to grab a drink at the bar while we waited. However, we were informed that we couldn’t sit at the bar or order drinks because we were waiting for a table, even though there was an open seat. It didn’t make much sense. When a table finally became available, we waited for it to be cleaned. After a while with no activity, we decided to take the initiative and sit down. Then, the same male bartender told us to return to the waiting area by the sign until the table was ready. After a few more minutes, we almost left to find another restaurant. Thankfully, a female server eventually cleaned the table for us and provided excellent service. It’s unclear if the male bartender was just having a tough night, but his unfriendliness stood out. Despite the staffing issues, it’s crucial for customers to be treated with warmth and respect. We love the up north vibe and great food at this restaurant as regulars, but it’s important that all guests receive kindness and consideration."

"What an amazing restaurant! We stumbled upon this gem during our road trip while searching for dinner options. We didn’t check any reviews beforehand; we just decided to give it a shot, and I’m so glad we did. Fortunately, it was Friday night, and they had an all-you-can-eat Prime Rib special that came with potatoes, corn, and more! The food was excellent—my husband enjoyed his burger, and my kids were thrilled with their meals. I only wish I could have eaten more! Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I would love to return with more friends and family. The total cost did add up, but given the quality of the food and the size of the restaurant, it was definitely worth it."

"I can’t say enough good things about this place! It can get pretty busy so keep in mind there might be a wait but the food and staff is absolutely worth it! They accommodating- we were able to snag some seats at the bar and honestly that’s the place to be! The manager who was also giving us our drinks was great! I highly recommend the white chicken chilli it will fill you up on its own! Flourless Molten chocolate cake was amazing as well! Wish I had this place in Chicago, I would be a regular"

"Awesome!!! Took our crew of 5 teens for bowling laser tag. The gentleman who got us set up for bowling was cool, gave the kids the run down after for laser tag and shared his story about his record for pinball! Stellar! Our waitress was amazing and very attentive to us and our birthday crew. The bar is great with a wall of glass to watch the kiddos as well! Very fun and will for sure be coming back. Can’t go wrong by coming to this place!"
