"So I most definitely gotta leave a review hey guys those of you who have followed my reviews always know that I love to let others know about my experience that I have had which might be different from yours but hey this is my review. so I stepped out on faith today as I visited this restaurant located in Midlothian the name of the restaurant is called Gum Wah I'm a pretty loyal Patron meaning that when I like something I'm going to keep going there so my to go to restaurant I forgot it's closed on Sundays so I was looking on Google nearby restaurants and this one kind of stood out to me I checked the menu I read almost like 90 reviews and I looked at their food online so I said hey why not the gentleman that I talked to over the phone just had a really good energy about him you know like I could tell that he really cares about delivering world class customer service so this next comment doesn't have anything to do with them there wasn't really like a lot of spaces to park so I had to park in this Auto shop parking lot I looked around to see if my vehicle was going to be towed I didn't see anything plus I wasn't going to be in the restaurant very long which was next door so the gentleman at the pickup window was the same gentleman that I talked to over the phone I told him I was here for a pickup and while I waited for my food I think I waited less than 5 minutes I was looking at the menu and I just really had a great conversation with the gentleman that took my payment that I wanted to extend my gratitude appreciation so I left a tip and I had to get a smoothie I really like smoothies by the way I got a strawberry mixed with banana and I added tapioca to my smoothie so when my order was ready and I left the tip on the merchant reciept copy The gentleman gave me some Chinese almond cookies which you guys don't know are one of my favorite cookies and I really like the fortune cookies as well they always have a comforting message that I read when you crack them open I ordered a large chicken fried rice for my wife and son and I and I also got four vegetable egg rolls so I drink the whole entire smoothie before I got home and I wanted to wait and save the almond cookies. when I got home I ate all three almond cookies I left one so my wife can try it so she can see what all the fuss is about I have never had vegetable egg rolls so fresh also the chicken fried rice was so perfectly put together I might have found me a new Chinese restaurant also besides Chinese they specialize in Cantonese Mandarin and Szechuan cuisines so let me leave you with this if you guys are in the Midlothian community please visit this establishment they definitely deserve 10 Stars they are open Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday and they're closed on Monday."

"We were invited to this restaurant for a work-related seminar and were uncertain about what to expect. After reviewing the menu, we didn't see much that aligned with our usual preferences, especially since my coworker is allergic to seafood. However, we decided to give it a try, and to our surprise, the food was delightful. The crispy asparagus spring rolls are a must-try! You really can’t go wrong with any of the drink options either. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s definitely a place worth visiting."

"I enjoyed a delightful dinner at this establishment, where the overall experience was exceptional. For a price range of $50 to $100 per person, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, which earned a perfect score of 5. The service was equally outstanding, also deserving of a 5, as the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the experience, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment, which I would rate a 5 as well. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!"

"After seeing the episode on Food Network highlighting this place we were able to taste the greatness for ourselves. Parking was easy, seating is plentiful and the a/c was nice and cool. Our server was awesome and walked us through the menu with ease. The Meatball Sub was the best I’ve had, tasty, flavorful, above expectations. We sampled a few dishes,-eggplant with mostaccioli and mozzarella, veal parmigiana sandwich. The next biggest standout was the large thin pizza with sausage, mushrooms, black olives. The Italian sausage was just as tasty as the meatballs in their own way. Overall it’s a great place with awesome food. Prices were good, atmosphere pleasant with lots of TVs showing various sports. "Such a lovely spot ! My mother and I brought my little brother here for his 18th birthday and it was an amazing experience. All the waiters are very diligent and polite. Quick to clear the table to make room for your other dishes. And the food was absolutely delicious. I did the “Make your own” and ordered Angel hair pasta with the Burrata sauce and Italian sausage and I would definitely order it again. The fresh bread they serve with oil and garlic with salt and pepper, to die for. My brother ordered the Lasagna and meatballs….cleared both plates completely. And my mother ordered a pasta with shrimp and garlic and she too loved it. I also had the pleasure in trying their octopus appetizer and that was also very fresh and delicious. Seasoned beautifully. They were kind enough to bring out a tasty strawberry cupcake with a candle for my brother. The restaurant’s decorations and aesthetic is so warm and welcoming. I also got to partake in conversation with one of the owners, such a sweet guy! Hospitality was amazing. GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION. Can’t wait to come back! Would definitely recommend!"
