"4 stars for the food, 5 stars for the exceptional service. Our waiter, Samuel ? , was very funny and attentive. We ordered the Fried Chicken Wings, Haemul Soon Tofu, and Dolsot KimChi Bibimbob, and they were good. The fried chicken was very crispy but could use a little more seasoning in my opinion. Maybe it?s just me but the haemul soon tofu has a little too much sesame oil. Regardless, we had a good experience here thanks to our waiter and we would definitely come back."

Quiet tasty restaurant with plenty of seating. I have been here a few times now and it's a nice relaxing stop over lunch. The food is tasty and portions are great, I never leave hungry. Beef bulgogi is my favorite here.

Excellent service, with a friendly and witty waiter. Food was great. Great fresh flavor and the perfect blend of spices. Very surprised to see no other tables come in at 7 pm on a Thursday. Prices were fair and portions were large!

I lived in Korea for 2 years and this place is among the better Korean restaurants in Austin. I've had galbi hundreds of times and the galbi at Jan Chi is top notch, but it's also unique, there's definitely something about it that sets it apart from other short ribs I've had. The service is the real MVP here. Sam was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Serving of dishes is traditional, everything is authentic and served in stone bowls. In addition, Bibimbob is served with kimchi and other side dishes.
