"The staff here might be the friendliest in Philadelphia! The atmosphere is wonderful, reminiscent of a cozy diner, and the prices are unbeatable. While the food isn't exceptional, it's genuinely good. Plus, it's the only place I've come across that serves a Rapini Omelette."

We lived near Jany's for years and went there every Sat for breakfast. Best scrapple in town!

Great little breakfast spot. Under new ownership. Ignore old owner bashing. Victoria is kind and friendly.

The menu features classic Greek diner offerings, and the service is both quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable for the generous portions served. Don't miss their Greek salad—it's the best in the city! View menu

I absolutely love this retro diner! The food is fantastic, and the portions are huge for such low prices. Jany's is so unique that they might not even realize how special they really are. Give it a try—I highly recommend it!

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
