"During our visit to Scripps Birch Aquarium and the seals at La Jolla, we regrettably decided to stop by Burger Connection. It turned out to be the worst burger I've ever had—overcooked meat, spoiled lettuce, and stale beef. My friend ordered fish and chips, which she described as terrible and tasting like cheap frozen food. Although there were hardly any customers at 4:00 PM, it took a long time for our meals to arrive. It seemed like they had prepared the grilled cheese sandwich for little 2-year-old Mariah long before cooking our orders, allowing it to become cold and hard. Mariah, who usually loves grilled cheese, didn't want to touch it. I tried it myself and found it unappetizing. While the prices weren't exorbitant, the food was far below expectations. I did not anticipate this level of quality in La Jolla. When I ordered and paid for our meal, I expected at least something decent, but unfortunately, it did not meet that expectation."
