"I had an errand near Jewel, so I checked the app and found some deals worth going in the store for. It is a well laid out store, not too big, but big enough to have a good selection of items. The app had the location of a couple of the items wrong, but I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't too bad. I did get attentive responses from the employees I asked. I checked out, put in my rewards ID, and none of the rewards were reflected in the final checkout so I had to go to the service desk. That got straightened out. But I took off 1 star for the error. I used to be a regular customer at Jewel, earning loyalty points every month. Then Albertsons decided if you were a loyal customer you should pay for your loyalty rewards. Now I usually go to another store, going to Jewel just for sale items."

I like the smaller size of this store. Easier and faster to navigate. Super nice people. Good selection of what I needed.

Less crowded than holidays! Good selection, helpful staff, decent prices definitely one of the better Jewels in the area!

I usually stop by this location because of the convenience, but it’s concerning how dirty it is on the customer floor. I can’t imagine what it looks like behind the counters- this type of buildup is just really nasty to see.

Went to get meds there from a GoodRX coupon. Sometimes Jewel-Osco has the best prescription prices.. if/when it does, I go there. I also picked up some mayo... cat for scale and/or for color matching scheme and/or for fun??? LOL : View menu

Unwillingness of the employees to go the extra mile, but I suppose that’s everywhere. This time, though, the bagger put my fresh tomatoes with my cans. Luckily I’m making sauce and there’s no longer a need to crush my tomatoes. I guess I should look at it as he saved me a step. lol

Mrs. Kim from the flower department is an extraordinary lady. She was very kind and offered to pack our flowers. I noticed her while she was making the bouquets. Very unique and creative. I was pleasantly surprised because I very rarely had the opportunity to see Bouquet Creations like this. All my respect for this wonderful lady!

Very very very bad customer service and rude attitude, don’t shop at this store. We usually shop different times with different accounts, we asked for rain check, the lady said: but not for her because you come together. Than she made a mistake and said: it’s my fault, I’ll change for you but not for him??? Train your people or you will be next Dominik. View menu

Buffalo Grove Jewel has an entitlement issue and the worst customer service. The most unpleasant employee is Tara, who called herself a “supervisor”. Tara is so rude, insulting, and demeaning person. She is very outdated and has no idea what customer service is. I have been discriminated and insulted by Tara few times. Most of the Staff in Buffalo Grove Jewel is very unfriendly and acting as if they do not want to be there.

My husband brought an old, deflated mylar balloon to Jewel to have it inflated. The woman in the floral department was happy to inflate it but ended up charging him the same price as a brand new mylar balloon inflated, which was $20. Jewel, you didn’t sell us the balloon, so you should have charged less or informed him beforehand that the cost would be the same! It’s not good business practice to charge for something that wasn’t purchased.
