"In the vast culinary landscape of New York City, Jiang Bing Man has emerged as an ambassador of Chinese street food, introducing many a curious palate to the wonders of jianbing. Though the flavors are largely well-executed, one is left to grapple with the confounding inconsistencies in texture that mar an otherwise promising dish. The jianbing is a street food staple in China, hailing from the bustling food stalls of Beijing and beyond. It is a crepe-like concoction, filled with a delightful medley of ingredients that meld together in a harmony of flavors. Jiang Bing Man's rendition of this beloved snack succeeds in capturing the essence of its origins, but stumbles in its execution. The foundation of a jianbing is its crepe, and at Jiang Bing Man, it is done exceptionally well. The batter, mottled with mung bean and millet, cooks to a lovely, lacy crispness that yields a satisfying crunch with each bite. The scattering of scallions and the delicate brush of hoisin and chili sauces bring a welcome depth of flavor, striking a balance between sweet, savory, and spicy. That said, Jiang Bing Man's jianbing are starved for more sauce. The meat, though visually appealing, falls well short in flavor. Dry and mostly tasteless, it sits like an unwelcome interloper amidst the otherwise harmonious medley of ingredients. The crisp fritter within the jianbing presents another conundrum, simultaneously and confusingly soggy and rock-hardened. A proper jianbing should feature a fritter that lends an extra layer of textural crunch, but here, it seems to have been a victim of indecision, suspended between two undesirable states. And finally, the fried dough stick--youtiao--proved to be an enigma. Impossibly hard and impenetrable to the strongest bite, it fought back against even the most determined teeth. Love the idea, but it required better execution, proper textures, and significantly more sauce."

The first time seeing Braised Pork Rice (Tea Egg is Included) 卤肉饭 using ground pork instead of pork belly. Which is not good at all.

I come here solely for the Jian Bing, and it never disappoints! Great for lunch or dinner. This restaurant is located in the food hall with other vendors.Food: 4/5 View menu

The food was delicious, but the space was a little crowded, and was pretty loud. The jian bing was a little expensive after you add sausages or other things inside it. But overall, totally recommend!Food: 5/5

Very bad experience. Didn’t give me cutlery. When I call back the lady blame me and very impolite. At the end she ask me to reorder an order than she will present me some drink (cheap drink) so nonsense that I need to pay more to get the cutlery.

It's a comfort food basically a fried blintzes with great flavor and protein. I personally would throw more protein and that's what I do when I take a takeout. Portions of very healthy inside, and when I say healthy I do not mean heart healthy, I mean you could feed a family : : Food: 5/5 View menu

It's hard to find authentic Jianbing in general but Jian Bing Man is quite legit. The fried dough filling tastes the same as what I had in China. Service is great. The lady works in the shop is friendly and treat us with a warm smell. Price is reasonable considering it's in a prime location.

I've always seen this stall at the food court in KTown, but never ventured out to try this, up until recently. I thought it would be good to try, but it was okay.I got their classic Jian Bing (crepe) which comes with a fried dough (you tiao) inside. I added pork floss to this to enhance it a little, but it kind of make this taste a little dry. I got their mildly spicy sauce to be added in which was sweet and savory. It tastes a bit like hoisin sauce mixed with soy sauce and some chili paste. After more and more bites, the sauce became a little too sweet for me to eat. This is basically a Chinese version of a burrito. I don't believe this is how it's supposed to be typically as other reviewer...
