"Why is it so hard to find pizza that doesn’t taste like cardboard here? As a native Vermonter, I don’t have the highest expectations for pizza, but this place’s attempt was just straight up sad. My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza here recently because I wanted to finally try this place, and let’s just say we won’t be going back. The pizza itself just disintegrated in your mouth with absolutely no taste whatsoever. The dough was cheap and flavorless, as was the sauce and the small amount of cheese on it. Our only topping, the pepperoni, was the saddest part they again literally tasted like NOTHING and it was also the tiniest pepperoni I think I’ve ever seen, AND they gave us next to none!! There were literally 2 3 tiny slices of pepperoni on each piece of pizza, so most bites were just cheese (which also didn’t have a taste).I also want to point out that there were like 4 5 guys just standing around when we got there, so it was clearly a slow night. For the amount of people working and the slow pace of the night, our food should have tasted 90 times better. Go anywhere else in the area, they’re all better than this place. Do better, Jimmz!!"

Lucky to call these guys neighbors. Not only were they incredibly friendly and kind when I was new to the area, they’ve consistently produced one of the best pies in Vermont. Absolutely do not miss!

I love everything on their menu. Delicious New York style pizzas. Great tomato sauce. The pesto and white pizzas are good, as well as the plain cheese or veggie. I usually call in and ask for extra crispy. They have a large oven, so the wait is never too long. The cheese bites are a rare treat as well. Definitely a go-to spot for dinner in Stowe.

I have never been to a pizza place as terrible as this one. The person who answered my call was very aggressive and unfriendly when I asked about the prices. The $12 cheese pizza I ordered tasted like cardboard. The staff were miserable and unkind to me and my friends. I later found out that the restaurant burned down in 2005 - maybe it should have stayed that way. Good grief. View menu

After passing by Jimmz in Waterbury several times, my wife and I finally decided to give it a try. We live 30 minutes away, but we are so glad we made the trip. The pizza at Jimmz is the best we've ever had! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. We ordered the Spring Chicken and Burning Spear pizzas as well as a custom pizza, all of which were delicious. We will definitely be recommending Jimmz to our friends!

They saved the day. Our family camps at Waterbury Dam every year and the tradition has been to eat at another pizza place in Waterbury. The service was horrendous but my wife called Jimmy's and they hooked us up (about 15 people) and we brought it back to the camp site. Really great pizza and their customer service was first rate. They are going to get our family's business from now on. Highly, highly recommend. Oh, and they had gluten free options

"This restaurant has been a favorite of my partner since the eighties when it was merely a small Italian grocery store and deli, known for its hot and cold grinders. About twenty years ago, it transitioned into the popular restaurant it is today. Starting with her cucumber martini made with Hendricks Gin, I must say it was the best cucumber martini I've ever had—absolutely perfect in taste, balance, and coldness. (Patrons can also opt for Crop cucumber vodka.) The cocktail menu is impressive. The Cabernet Sauvignon we chose was smooth and paired beautifully with our meal. The Mozzarella Di Casa was particularly noteworthy, featuring a satisfying crunch from the bread and a creamy lemon butter wine sauce, presenting a refreshing twist on the traditional En Carozza version usually served with red sauce. The visual presentation, cut into triangles, was enticing even before the first bite. The soup of the day was a creative take on chicken gumbo, perfect for the chilly February weather; we shared a cup, which was hearty and packed with chicken, chorizo sausage, and vegetables—a bowl of it would make a great meal on its own. The house bread was another highlight, offered in two varieties—one topped with sesame seeds, and the other plain. The lobster ravioli with pink champagne sauce was perfectly dense and incredibly flavorful. My partner remarked that one of his old friends always orders this when they dine together; I can see why, and I was pleased to have leftovers for the next day. D'Amelio's take on Veal Saltimbocca deviates from the traditional Alla Romana style by incorporating Portobello mushrooms, but my partner enjoyed it immensely and had no complaints about this interpretation. The dish also came with mozzarella, and the sautéed spinach she chose as a side was cooked just right, leaving her satisfied with her leftovers as well. We rounded off the meal with two cappuccinos—one with Amaretto and the other with Bailey's—which added a lovely touch to this wonderful culinary experience. They also offer lunch specials, including salads and paninis, for those dining during the day. Additionally, there’s a private event room on the ground floor for larger parties, a separate bar, and two floors of dining options. Buon appetito!"
