"Love this place. Been going here for around 20-25 years. The number 1 Johnnie’s Burger with Johnnies sauce, cheese and pickle is flat out amazing. The shredded cheese is unlike anywhere else. The sauce is a marinara-like house special. Get the onion rings with ketchup,salt, and pepper. Fries are not my fave but get some ranch .33 extra) and they’re great. Anyway, couldn’t rate a 5 because tables and seats were a bit dirty on this visit. However, the burger is so worth it."

They advertise fresh cut fries, but they aren?t fresh cooked. They had been sitting under a warmer light for who knows how long. The cheese is shredded cheese that isn?t melted on the burger, so it falls off. Very disappointed.

The food is ok. I got the crispy chicken sandwich which was a bit more cooked than I would have liked, but overall it was pretty good. Wife got the Theta burger; the bbq sauce was more like a spicy ketchup/marinara than it was BBQ sauce. But the portionsare generous. We got a large fry to split between three and it was probably enough to split between 5. View menu

I've been here several times over the last decade while in town, visiting family. It's always been good, with the onion rings being a standout. This visit, the burger was excellent but the onion rings sub par. The batter was flavorless, lacking even a hint of salt. And the texture of the batter was off as well. Very dry and crumbley. Hopefully just an off night and next visit will be back to standards.

An Oklahoma institution! This location brings back so many good memories of fundraisers for school, fellowship after church, and a great burger whenever I’m in the mood for one! My usual order has remained the same throughout the years: a Theta cheeseburger with a side of onion rings, and a small strawberry shake. No need to change what works! Hats off for including meatless patties on your menu as well, which are also amazing!
