"The restaurant was beautiful, the workers were nice enough, and the food was amazing. I have to leave 1 star simply because we waited over 45 minutes with a reservation. This is the longest I have ever had to wait for a table, reservation or not. I was just about ready to leave by the time we were sat, especially because I have a bad knee. This sort of wait time for a reservation is, to me, unacceptable. The kicker was our reservation was for 7:30 in the dining room, but people with reservations for 8:00 of our same party size were sat in the dining room before us, yet we were eventually sat in the café after them just past 8:15. As mentioned in another review, it seemed these people might have been some sort of “special patrons” who were simply more important to them than our Valentine’s Day reservation. Only go to this place if you're willing to stand for an hour before being seated with a reservation in hand. Hart Kitchen is just around the bend and it is better, cheaper, faster, and the staff are nicer and less overworked."

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My filet was served rare and burnt on the top, indicating that the chef doesn't know how to cook properly. As a business owner, you should value feedback to prevent this from happening to other guests. I am also concerned about the limited operating hours (only open 2 days a week from 5-9), which shows a lack of commitment to customer service.

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to for this restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic. I tried the rack of lamb, which was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of char and a very tender cut. The broccoli was cooked al dente and the mashed potatoes were rich and flavorful. Everything was seasoned perfectly, so I didn't need to use any salt or pepper. My wife ordered a magnificent filet mignon and a delicious crab cake. Our appetizers were also amazing - perfectly seared scallops and a sweet and savory mushroom cap with chocolate and caramel sauce that surprisingly combined to create an incredible flavor experience.
