"My husband and I walked in only to be greeted with stares. Very rude. I spoke and barely got a response from 5 people which we’re all employees who were standing behind the desk. There were about 4 waitresses and one waiter. All rude except for one waitress who grabbed menus and took the initiative to seat us. One waitress then avoided eye contact with me and decided to acknowledge my husband only which has happened several times before. Apparently, people who do not look like them aren’t welcome as I’ve been to this location several times and have experienced this same demeanor from more than one employee. This is unfortunate because the manager is always professional and polite and my waiter (Andrew) is always a pleasure, being attentive and professional each time we come. Unfortunately, we felt unwelcome and therefore we will avoid this location and hopefully have better luck next time. This happened on Wed, July 5th, 2023 around 5 pm."

It's Friday evening so we the family got there around 4pm to beat the rush and attention was perfect. Fast service, great Margaritas and delicious food. Will continue going back.

The dishes and utensils were unclean, with dried food stuck to the bottom of my plate. The food was cold in the center as well. Additionally, the bathroom was extremely small for such a large restaurant. I also noticed that no one kept their hair away from the food.

The food is reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. The wait time at 1 PM on a weekday was also quite manageable. However, I did have one issue: the breading on the chili relleno had an odd taste. It felt as though it had been frozen or possibly came from a local supermarket. Additionally, it didn't seem to be made with egg; it appeared to be some sort of powdered egg substitute. View menu

This a very nice restaurant. Prices are fair however portions are not big. Food is good! My favorite dish is the mole enchiladas and they never disappoint as I like my mole on the sweeter side.I have been here for dinner and the breakfast buffet and the buffet is a nightmare because the waiters have to serve you and therefore the line at times gets ridiculously long. They dont offer as many things as the Julios on the east. Because the buffet area is so small, items are very limited and tens to run out fast.

I placed a to-go order, and the person who took my call seemed hurried to end the conversation. The order was accurate, but for two dinner plates, I only received two small salsa containers. I requested two additional salsas and was charged $2.79 for what looked like tablespoon servings. This seems overly priced. The quality of both the food and service has declined since the restaurant first opened. It appears that many restaurants start strong when they first open, but after a year or so, they begin to slip, ultimately leading to their closure.

I had lunch with my daughter wife during the week ordered a pork green chile lunch special . The young waiter was awesome, but his manager a short chubby Hispanic with beard wasn 't helpful. The manager asked me is everything ok ? and I told him that the pork was probably cooked too fast, because it has a game taste. I showed him my green chile pork bowl told him see, I only ate 2 pieces of meat. He replied sorry, do you want a sopapilla? Most restaurants i have visited usually offer you another plate or take the charge off your tab. (Not sure if it 's an El Paso norm? View menu

We tend to go out to eat very often and enjoy a good meal. Julio’s here has really gotten much better in service and food quality. We had started to come here to eat when it first opened and were disappointed at the first few times but it was new and so close to home. . Then we had a very good waiter one time and he was great and had us try different things. We had great service and noticed better quality food being served. Julio’s is now one of our favorites on the Westside. Service is still dependent on the server can be good or poor) but food is now more consistent and very good.

Julio 's has been one of my family 's favorite restaurant since they had their first one in Cd. Juárez Mx. My grandmother used to take us there, and we enjoyed their delicious food back then as much as we did now. It 's really nice to see a family business thrive going now on their third generation. This time, I decided to have their salmon (great choice if you want to stay on the healthy side lol) and it was outstanding. We ended our lunch with their famous flan. Superb! And received wonderful service as well. Our server was very attentive and cheerful. That 's a plus when it comes to ambiance. Overall, we had such a great experience. I definitely recommend it.

"We began with Baked Escargot in Herbed Citrus Parmesan Butter—an exquisite dish in which the desire to savor every drop of the butter was undeniable. The Grilled Octopus with Cilantro Chimichurri was expertly spiced, leaving a lasting impression of refined flavors. The Central Caesar Salad, uniquely presented for communal sharing, was notable for its rich Anchovy Emulsion. The Cream of Green Chile Soup was a revelation; its creamy texture and depth of flavor were so captivating that they prompted a moment of culinary reflection. However, the Seared Diver Scallops, though well-executed, did not resonate as strongly with me; I had a less than favorable reception of the broccoli puree. In contrast, the Lobster Agnolotti was satisfactorily balanced and flavorful with its delicate pasta and butter-poached lobster claw submerged in a creamy lobster broth. The Honey Lavender Long Island Duck was another course that showcased the fusing of sweet and savory nuances. The undeniable highlight of the meal was the Ribeye Prime, a masterful display of flavor infusion, complemented by Chipotle Lime Butter and enhanced by the textural contrast of crispy onion strings. We concluded on a celebratory note with a Dessert Platter for my husband’s birthday. This thoughtful gesture included an array of desserts from Petite Crème Brulée to a Mexican Chocolate Tart, each a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to a memorable dining experience. However, it is imperative to note that the ambiance was somewhat marred by the overly loud piano and live singing. While the music itself was beautifully rendered, its volume was disproportionate to the dining setting, complicating conversational flow and detracting from the overall enjoyment."
