"If you're passing through Gatesville, this place offers excellent country cooking. We've noticed it several times before, and we finally decided to give it a try—I'm glad we did! The kids opted for chicken nuggets and steak fingers, served with fresh-cut fries and seasoned curly fries, respectively. They both really enjoyed their meals. My wife chose the sampler platter, which included wings, tornados, and loaded fries, and she loved it. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich, and it was quite delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was flavorful. There's plenty of parking available, even for larger vehicles or trailers, and it's conveniently located right off Highway 36. Inside, you'll find a spacious setting with an eclectic decor featuring a lot of Elvis memorabilia. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for some great food!"

The catfish plate was delicious, and I enjoyed it with sweet potato fries and grilled vegetables. The restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere, filled with plenty of decor. On select nights, there are live bands performing. The staff is very friendly, too.

The food was excellent, and I appreciate that they offer the option to purchase quick gifts if needed. There's a selection of jewelry and a small gift shop at the entrance. We really enjoy the Elvis-themed decor. They also host parties for large groups, but I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation.

I've been dining at this restaurant for a couple of years now, and I've seen significant improvements since my initial visits. To start, their chicken fried chicken topped with mashed potatoes and gravy is absolutely delightful. The monster balls and fried pickles are also fantastic. I always enjoy dining at this restaurant! I have no complaints at all. The servers are consistently friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is always inviting. My visit today, 12/8/22, was particularly pleasant. There was live music, and even though it was quite crowded, we didn't mind at all because the music was fantastic, the service was quick, and the food was exceptional! I highly recommend this place to everyone in Gatesville, TX, and to anyone passing through.
