"PERFECTION AT BREAKFAST. Due to room preference we stay at Park Hyatt across the street but their restaurant is too much of the fancy gourmet tasteless bullcrap you know , the stuff people pretend to like but really don't. Anyhow, yesterday we did breakfast at this place......just thrilled! The restaurant is peaceful and nice. Staff equally pleasant and really pay attention to requests. Pancakes Excellent in taste, served hot. Fruit Fresh and cool as it should be. Eggs Benedict OH MAMA this was good. Poached PERFECTLY. Ham flavorful. Hollandaise on point without some chef re imagining and ruining it. The English muffin was HOT and CRISPY.....each bite was heavenly I ate slow because I didn't wanna finish it fast. Yeah, I had foreplay with my Eggs Benedict I admit it. Breakfast Potatoes HOT! CRISPY!!!!! No weird flavors on it. Only one wish is the waitstaff means so well just slow down a second. Let us sit down at least, before asking about drinks and coffee but overall they were splendid. When we are in DC this is my ONLY breakfast spot now. Damn I wish I ordered two entrees now :"

Service was outstanding. On a Saturday night, the restaurant was quiet. It is situated inside the lovely Fairmont Hotel.

Had a great meal, served family style, with a group of friends at Juniper and everything was delicious corn bread skillet, sides, striped bass, herb roasted chicken, NY strip, scallops, crab cakes, steak tartar, and the snickers dessert! Planning a return visit. Tip: meet for cocktails in the courtyard patio before dinner!

The Juniper Restaurant located in the luxurious Fairmont Hotel in Georgetown is a restaurant that you will want to try. I especially enjoyed having lunch there and tasting the seasonal menu while dining in a lovely courtyard setting. Be sure and order the cast iron skillet bread. Tip: As soon as it comes to the tabletop it with the amazing butter and honey. The honey is sourced on site and it is a decadent delight! Weather permitting the courtyard is a fabulous place to dine!

I just recently stayed at the Fairmont, which was WONDERFUL, and ate at this restaurant a couple of times for breakfast. They have the most incredible Crab Cake Benedict and Banana Foster waffles that we had for desserts because we just couldn't decidewhat to order. Everything looked so good! However, the highlight of our experience was our waiter, Oscar. He was incredible andmade dining there more than just a meal. Best of all, they serve mimosas, giving several champagne options! Steak and Eggs: 4 stars - The steak was excellent, but one egg was overcooked and the other was undercooked. Not sure how they managed that. Smoked Pastrami Hash: 4 stars - It was pretty bland and needed Tabasco to add any flavor. The texture was mushy and resembled canned hash. Omelette: 4 stars - It was overcooked and dry, but it did look appealing! Biscuits and Gravy: 5 stars - This was packed with flavor and my favorite dish of the day. The best part, though, was the bagel!

The ambiance felt quite generic, like you would find in any hotel. I should have taken that as a sign when I received brown lemon and lime wedges with my sparkling water. I'm not talking about the skin; I mean brown on the inside. The food was vastly overpriced for what it was—absolutely outrageous! The Chicken Caesar salad was dry and chewy; for $22, it should have impressed me, but it certainly did not. The hamburger was overcooked and greasy. Believe it or not, we managed to eat everything because we were shocked by the final bill, which included two drinks and some bread.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. It was a quiet Saturday evening when we visited, and the venue is situated within the lovely Fairmont Hotel. The cornbread is a well-known item on the menu, but I found it to be just average—nothing particularly special that I would recommend. We ordered the crab cakes and chicken, which were quite good, accompanied by broccolini and potatoes. For dessert, the red velvet cake was disappointing; it didn't taste as good as it appeared and was rather mediocre. The cream cheese ice cream tasted like regular ice cream—without any distinct flavor. However, the Snickers parfait was a hit for chocolate lovers. View menu

My husband and I went for brunch even though we didn't stay at the hotel. It is located inside the Fairmont Hotel, and when you enter the hotel go toward the left of the lobby to get to the restaurant. You may be able to find street parking but if not, youcan valet in the hotel garage for $20. The brunch/breakfast buffet is extensive and even available during weekdays. They havescrambled eggs on the buffet or you can order any type of egg preparation for no extra charge. The buffet also had fruit, charcuterie meat and cheeses, sausages, bacon, home fries, yogurt, juices, granola, bagels, waffles, muffins, lox and pastries. All of the condiments were in individual mini glass jars. "I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Around mid-day I fell walking around in NoMa and severely hurt my knee. Rather than continuing my tours for the day I decided to come back to pick up my bags and potentially go to the airport to arrive early for my flight. When I got to Old City Market and Oven, they actually gave me ice for my knee and let me sit downstairs uninterrupted. While I was downstairs the cashier told me to call the number in case I needed anything so they can come down and help because they didn't want me walking up the stairs for anything stupid. To say they were sweet was understatement, the level of care I received felt like I was in one of my dad's restuarants growing up which in my opinion is not something you see these days. I decided to have a pizza while I waited because another customer said it was amazing. Even though I was skeptical due to the paper menu, they really did their big one with that pear pizza. This spot really made my day and it makes me happy establishments at this tier still exist."

"For a special occasion, make a reservation at Michelin star Reverie, a small restaurant inside a Georgetown alley. If you 're lucky, you 'll meet Poppy the Alley Cat that is taken care of by the community, including by the staff at Reverie. My wife dined at Reverie on a Thursday evening. Here 's our experience. 1) Experience: It 's a Michelin star restaurant so expect superb service. It 's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft and his passion is contagious. Every staff member from our server to the chefs who brought out our food, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. Throughout the stay, we were given wet towels to wash our hands in between snacks. Our water glasses were kept full. If we really loved a dish, our server would point out elements or teach us tips on how to use similar flavors at home. The journey begins with savory snacks and ends with sweet ones. Since the menu changes often, a copy of your dinner 's meu is given to you to take home at the end. It 's a perfect memento, especially if you 're celebrating something special. 2) Food: Reverie 's menu changes, but whatever you 're served will be innovative, fresh, and full of flavor. It 's also a tasting menu. When we went in May 2025, the menu included 17 different bites/dishes. The meal starts and ends with three small bites. The next nine dishes mainly included seafood and one was elk. Every dish is presented on a design-forward plate and came in full color and plated perfectly. A sign of a good restaurant is perfection in every dish and there wasn 't a bad one. We thoroughly enjoyed every single one, but our favorites were the Scallop, which comes in a fun sunchoke cracker sandwich, Hiramasa with juniper and caviar, and the Carolina Gold Rice. 3) Drink: Reverie 's drink menu comes with cocktails named after neighborhoods from around the world, wine, and other options. The Golden Gai is now my wife 's favorite Old Fashioned. She ordered two. For a sweeter refreshing cocktail, get the Old San Juan. For a refreshing, but sherry-forward cocktail, I recommend the Roma Notre. The dinner begins with chilled tea for all and it is very tasty. Savor it. At the end, you 'll have an opportunity to order more tea. Each blend is unique. I recommend any of it. 4) Price: It 's $245 a person for the tasting menu and additional prices for drinks, but for a quality dinner experience, it could be more expensive. We found it to be a fair price, especially for a special occasion. 5) Space: It 's beautiful! The design is not ornate, but rather simple, making it classy. There are two unisex restrooms in the back. When you sit down, you 're offered small stools to place your phones, belongings, etc. 6) Neighborhood: Inside an alley, there 's much to explore nearby from other top restaurants, cafes, and historic homes. We usually find street parking nearby by the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
