"Very friendly place making homemade dumplings which are pre made and stored in a freezer. Dumplings are boiled and taste fresh. A tad heavy. The pork dumplings are delish and the shrimp dumplings with luffa were delish, but the shrimp was not proportionally distributed in the dumplings. But for fresh dumplings you cannot go wrong . I definitely recommend Kathy's Dumplings for that dumpling fix. Yes I would definitely go back here. The chicken dumplings are next to try. To be continued...Vegetarian options: They have vegetable dumplings"

Excellent dumplings and cold noodle salad! If you are going for healthy Chinese food this is the place. The staff is very nice and polite.

Fresh vegetables and tasty jasmine green tea. Spring rolls definitely are greasy from being deep fried, the simple ingredients are super yummy.

The beef noodle soup here is outstanding, and the dumplings are absolutely delicious. Even though it's a small restaurant, everything is incredibly fresh. View menu

Wasn’t good at all. Please stay away. I can make better dumplings at home. Bubble tea was garbage and had no flavor at all. This place has ruined my dumpling experience

My 3.5 year old gets psyched whenever we order the rainbow dumplings from Kathy's. Yummy dumplings and quick delivery. Pan fried pork dumplings are solid. The juicy pork buns warm your cold soul on a winter day. Big believer in the Special Pancakes.

The food and service here are exceptional. Their Braised Beef Noodle Soup is truly incredible—hearty with just the perfect amount of spice. The dumplings are also fantastic. The warm and welcoming atmosphere when you walk in is unmatched. This place is a must-visit in Bay Ridge! View menu

The best veggie dumplings I've ever had! The shrimp and luffa dumplings were also outstanding. I really enjoyed the scallion pie and Kathy's special pancakes. The chicken noodle soup was very good as well. I hope they can create a vegetarian pork bun and/or chicken buns in the future. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely fantastic! I tried both the steamed and fried dumplings, and they were delicious. The braised beef noodle soup was perfect and really satisfying. The fresh rolls were the best I've ever had! I would have loved a bit more peanut sauce, but the dipping sauce provided was still great. Overall, an amazing experience. I can't wait to come back!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
