"Have frequented Duke's many times over the years and they always deliver! Food and service is always exceptional. In this particular situation, I made a reservation ahead because we had two under two in our party! When we arrived they had the coloring pages ready and water cups with lids! Wow, as a mom this was so awesome. Even brought out the kiddos food right away so we could sip on some cocktails and the kids could be distracted with their meals. Just very impressed and happy with those elements makes me want to choose Dukes more when family is in town knowing they take such good care of people!"

"Let me start by stating that I don’t do online reviews, I’m way to lazy. But after my last experience here, I felt absolutely compelled to make sure this place got the recognition it deserves. My girlfriend and I have gone there twice in the past week. Our first time there, we had such a pleasant time. The food was fantastic! We had gotten the braised beef soup, pork soup dumplings, tofu puff and glass noodle soup, then the pork and veggie steam buns. At first I was apprehensive about the cost, roughly 10-14 per dish. But after we got our food, my worries diminished. Everything was absolutely delicious! The braised beef soup was the definition of “to die for”. Enough so that it brought us back again at the end of the week! This time was not as good, it was phenomenally better!!! My girlfriend and I both got the braised beef soup this time, after last time being so incredible. We were not disappointed! It was heavenly! Though the food was the reason we came back, our server is the inspiration for this review(not to belittle the other employees . Our servers name was Jun. Within moments of being seated, he arrived with a smile on his face and took our drink order. After returning with our drinks, he helped us make our minds up on what side to order. This time, in tandem with the two braised beef soups, we got the pork chop fried rice(w/ white rice). The pork chop fried rice was ridiculously good. We could not get over how delicious the pork chop was! Then he made some small talk and made us feel more immersed in our dinning experience. We were enjoying not only the food, but the environment almost as much. He wasn’t overly talkative, but just the right amount to make our experience feel important, and unique. Nearing the end of our second trip there, we found ourselves not just talking about how outrageously good our food was, but how friendly and attentive our server was. From the fast meet and greet, to the way he always made sure our drinks were full, without us asking. Which seems like an easy task, but in combination with the huge amount of customers,and my ability to consume copious amounts of beverages(almost to an embarrassing extent), it’s often a servers nightmare. If there’s anything that can ruin an experience, it’s constantly having to wait for a drink refill(which for me seems to always be a problem), but not once was I left with that frustration. At the end of it all, it left us with such a strong positive impression, that we feel that Din Tai Fung will easily be one of our regular go to destinations for amazing food, and exceptional customer service. Thank you so much Jun for the incredible experience, you truly made our night memorable! We will be returning soon!!!"

"The wine, dinner plates and dessert were incredible! The food was very authentic! The service was spot on and made sure we were taken care of! The only downfall to the evening was the calamari appetizer, the breading that was used was flavorless but the sauce that was paired with it was very good. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice Italian restaurant."

"We waited for nearly 90 minutes and still didn't receive the food we ordered. There's no justification for a family restaurant to take that long to prepare a few simple dishes. Additionally, the server was quite rude and appeared annoyed when we inquired about our food. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to charge an 18% service fee without offering any apologies. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially when there are countless other Vietnamese restaurants in Seattle that not only taste just as good but also provide better and faster service."

"Absolutely phenomenal, all the way around. Everything food, service, vibe was excellent.We came in on a Thursday around dinner time to celebrate our anniversary. We immediately were greeted and seated. The whole restaurant is a bit small, but it is so cozy. Dimmed lights, candles, natural materials.We ordered some wine and enjoyed the complimentary garlic bread before our salads came. All of it was really good the only “mediocre” food was the salad. Kinda plain.Anyway, we ordered a few entrees to sample and share. The special, a lobster ravioli, was easily the best dish of the night. Tortellini was awesome and the carbonara was also tasty. We capped off the celebration with a tiramisu candle and all!The whole time the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. And the bill was incredibly fair probably some of the best prices for quality we’ve had in King County!So we can 100% recommend a pitstop here as well as repeated visits. We know we’ll be back."
