"We ordered House Mezza which was 11 small plates. All tasted fresh and were delicious. Also got half baked chicken. Had a great home made taste and flare to it. Quality food at a great value. Can't wait to go back and try other items. Update Dec 29, 2023 Our second visit was very disappointing which is the reason I took two stars out. This time we elected for dinner for two and chose chicken gyro Mosaka for main course and Kanifa for desert. After ten minutes of wait, she came back and said they were out of Mosaka and offered Lamb kabab instead. To which we agreed. Lamb came with 2 skewers each of which had 3 small pieces of lamb. Lamb was chewee and overcooked! Chicken gyro was cardboard dry. Lemon tahini sauce that came with it was as tasteless as it gets. Our dessert Kunafa was mostly a large lump of grilled cheese with a small hint of a paper thin layer of the shredded dough. On top of it, they charged us extra for the lamb dish which was supposed to be a substitute of the moska that they had run out. And the attitude of our server was very dismissive the whole time. With this latest experience, hard for me to recommend this place anymore."

Perhaps one of the best middle eastern restaurants in the Las Vegas area. Our server was very helpful, our appetizer and food were excellent. Bread was fresh baked in the oven. Great ambiance and service.

This place is a little off the beaten path of you are staying on the strip, but well worth the drive! We really enjoyed the Mediterranean feast, and had a wonderful time visiting with the excellent and friendly staff! View menu

Great food, great service, atmosphere was exceptional. Everything was good. We will be returning. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our dining experience nice. If you like Mediterranean food this place is a must. Our second time here was better than the first. Everything was taken up a notch, better food, presentation and service. Especially love the bread hummus; very flavorful. We ordered the chicken shrimp kabobs with rice a salad. Wonderful and full of flavor! Service was very good the patronage was light since we visited late afternoon. Would still encourage everyone to try it. LOTS of FLAVOR

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
