"What a refreshing change from the current glut of depressing, poorly run, impersonable establishments that are so common nowadays. Seriously... it feels like traveling back in time to a better day. Dang! I am officially old, feeling like this. Staff is super friendly, helpful and cheery. The bread and pastries are awesome and the coffee is good. Day old loaves of bread are only $3.75. Cannot recommend enough!"

"This Family owned Restaurant has been around since 1963. We always go there for the Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes w/ gravy. Wishbone is extremely consistent and amazing every time! Lots of seating, almost never have to wait! Staff is always sweet and attentive! Every table has honey if you like that with your Fried chicken, we do!! "So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. "I 've been following Anne 's cooking for a long time now. From the days when she cooked in New Saigon to Vietnamese Cafe, her cooking always brought me to her tables. She uses simple ingredients and magically turns them into flavor parties in your mouth. Anything I ordered tasted like it was cooked with love. It 's like going to your favorite Aunt 's house that you haven 't seen in a long time and she makes you all your favorite dishes. I don 't have a go to dish that I would recommend because all that I have ordered were top notch. But what I would recommend is trying her soft shell crab dish. It 's deep fried like the traditional way of cooking soft shell crabs, but her twist to it is the butter garlic sauce and onions that is added to it. If you love flavor then this will make you scream, More Daddy! Best thing about this restaurant is the service. I have always been warmly greeted and I always felt like I was at home. Service has always been top notch, even when they are busy. The restaurant is also very inviting and clean. I have always walked into a dining room that is clean, floors aren 't slippery, and most of all, the bathrooms are clean. This restaurant may not have a long list of dishes, but what they have will not disappoint anyone."

"I love the size of the gyro sandwich and it tastes fantastic! Looking for Wait staff and Cook needed ASAP, No Draft Beer only bottle!First timers this is a must bring yourself here, Seat yourself unless it is really Busy then wait staff will help you to be seated! My waitress was New and still was very Amazing she was the only one here serving I just wanted to say thank you to Billie for the great breakfast! Amazing Breakfast I am sure the lunch is good also! The staff was very fun and friendly very attentive to needs dine in or order ahead pick up also they use Doordash. The coffee here is also Amazing! Salt and pepper shakers where clean no clogged holes. They have Suger free syrup. This place is in my Top 5 Breakfast places I suggest you get on down and try, not sure how they are when Busy! Bathroom in back for gender neutral and Bathrooms in middle for women only! Awesome looking cinnamon rolls see you all soon! Also the carpet has been cleaned! Don't be shy just ask if you need something!"
