"This place was so good that I went two days in a row! The atmosphere and ambiance walking up to and in the restaurant is warm, welcoming, casual, and gave a chic farmhouse vibe. You see the patio first and foremost, as it is along the street and you walk onto it to get through the front door. Despite always looking busy and crowded, there was plenty of seating in and outside. The hostesses were friendly, but the space inside the front door is tight. This is especially true considering the pickup/to go orders are right inside the door as well. There isn't much room to stand and wait, so I suggest sending one person in to assess any wait times or seating availability if it seems crowded. I didn't have to wait either times I went. The first visit was dinner on a Sunday, and I sat inside. I had perused the menu before arriving and knew exactly what I wanted. The food did NOT disappoint. I ordered the Spicy Feta to start off the meal. It had just enough spice to give the feta a tiny kick, but it wasn't overwhelming at all. The flavor of the feta definitively dominated, and the pita was toasted to perfection. I then ordered the Lamb Gyro as an entreé. If you love Gyro's, you know it's incredibly difficult to find them with only lamb meat. They're usually the beef/lamb mix, which just isn't the same. The lamb was seasoned perfectly, tender, and delicious. And that tzatziki was to die for so fresh! Our waiter was relatively attentive, with the exception of a small dip in service after receiving the appetizer, but it allowed for more conversation with my colleague and digestion of the appetizer that I basically consumed alone. I came alone for the second visit, and sat outside on Monday night. Busier than the night before, but they still had plenty of seating. My server, Sasha, was fast, efficient, friendly, and helpful! I ordered the Big Fig Newton cocktail on her recommendation. She said it was similar to an old fashioned, which I generally find too sweet, but decided to try anyway. It had a nice flavor, but alas it was too sweet. I stuck with my go to and ordered a Manhattan instead. I once again ordered the Spicy Feta to start and devoured it! It was so delicious the first time I needed it again! Sasha timed my entreé perfectly and delivered my Lamb Burger just in time. I love lamb, obviously, and this was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! I would have had another if I had the room. Finally, I ordered the Baklava to take home. For the taste and portion size, it was WELL worth it. For everything Kid Cashew offers, the prices here are unbelievable. All of the staff helps each other out, fast and friendly service, ambiance, food quality, vegetarian options...all top notch! I highly encourage a visit. You will not regret it!"

This place is incredibly delicious and the food is reasonably priced too for the great quality of food . They don’t use heat lamps , fryers or freezers. I highly recommend this place and it even has a nice outdoor patio.

The food was excellent, and the menu was really enjoyable. The white beans were incredible. I ordered a gyro, and it was among the best I've ever had, featuring tender pieces of lamb and fresh vegetables. The lamb burger was slightly dry, but still flavorful. We dined outside on a lovely, warm evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Food rating: 4/5.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food for a great price! The location is great and the restaurant has free parking on premises. The mimosas are mostly champagne (which is perfect! and the cashew stack (pictured below is FANTASTIC! Loved the polenta as well, creamy and with the right consistency. We’ll be coming back for brunch next time we’re in town.

Highly recommended. I was in Charlotte for an architecture and planning convention (my first and probably my only time in Charlotte). I wanted to see the Dilworth and Meyers Park sections of town (beautiful). I googled restaurants on the “seam” between the two districts and came up with Kid Cashew. What a good find. Great food (I had three appetizers) and a great bar staff. A high energy and young (21- 30 years old crowd) vibe in a Friday night. Apparently it’s owned by the leader of a small restaurant group (he owns the Penguin across the street and others). I would go back in a heartbeat. View menu

A friend took us to this restaurant during our visit to Charlotte for some afternoon cocktails and food, and I highly recommend it. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lively, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Our server was great, but unfortunately, one of the other staff members seemed quite unhappy and displayed rude behavior. We mentioned this to our server after experiencing the unpleasantness while she was bringing us some of our ordered dishes. Despite that issue, we had a wonderful time overall. This place is definitely worth a visit, and we look forward to dining here again.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with a lively crowd on Saturday lunchtime, but we were seated promptly. The food felt like fine dining at fast food prices. I was truly surprised when the bill came—it was half of what I expected! Plus, kids eat free! We were thoroughly impressed not only by the amazing food, but also by the service, ambiance, and staff. The manager stopped by to check on us several times, and our server made sure our water glasses were always full. Both the kids and my in-laws enjoyed the food, which is no small feat! I also have to mention that the beets were probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything was just exceptional.

Picked this place from a long list of gluten free options in Charlotte and it did not disappoint!! The energy of the restaurant is so fun with an eclectic design and an open kitchen. We loved the decor so much! The service was next level, every one seemed genuinely happy to be there. They ensured me that food allergies are taken seriously and the menu even has all the GF meals/options marked and there were plenty!! We started with the chicken skewers and they were so flavorful, juicy and delicious! Our entrees were the salmon Caesar salad and the wood fired trout over quinoa. These were some of the best meals we’ve ever had!! They even had dedicated parking which was awesome as well!!Dietary... View menu

We really wanted to like Kid Cashew in Dilworth, Charlotte but the experience left us with a bad taste, and not wanting to return. We visited on a busy Friday evening, and were asked to sit in the outside area, which was fine by us, since it was quite busy and we wanted to get a table as soon as we could. We ordered a chicken avocado burger, chicken skewers, a salad and Mac and cheese. The salad and Mac and Cheese were served promptly, however the other two dishes took quite sometime. Also, there were a lot of bugs flying around our table, because of which we couldn’t continue eating and had to ask them to pack it in to-go boxes. The service was slow, and at one point they served us a dish th...

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
