"What the heck happened to this place??? My wife and I used to LOVE Kim Cheez tacos. We went there today, and were very disappointed. It's not what it used to be. There was hardly any meat in the tacos, and TONS of corn, onions, etc. It was like eating a veggie taco. And now there's shredded melted cheese in the tacos, which I could swear was not in them previously. Is that supposed to replace the missing meat? They still taste good; but they used to be awesome. What an unfortunate change. We'll try it again in the near future, but if they're still like they were today, it will be our last visit there. Bummer. One more thing.... Please tell Richard not to blow his nose behind the counter. Disgusting. We all have to blow our nose sometimes, but not right there where food is being cooked and orders being taken."

Awesome tacos and bowls. Spicy pork is the best, and don't forget to get a kimchi set with the amazing potato salad.

The pork belly burrito is top notch. Best customer service ever from Tina at the Creve coeur location. Can't wait to go back and try the cheese fries.

My husband and I both ordered the kimchi pork belly and fried rice bowl for takeout tonight. They were so good! We can't wait to order from Kimcheese again!

Absolutely delicious! We ordered the steak rice bowl and the chicken rice bowl with kimchi, and I would recommend both. The chicken rice bowl had a wonderful hint of spice to it. View menu

My mom got terrible food poisoning from your steak tacos. It was a really violent and severe case. Are you making sure your marinated meats are kept at proper food safety temperatures?

I had the spicy pork quesadilla. Didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! The pork is really good and seasoned well, not spicy but does have a slight kick. Next time I will try the spicy pork with rice, I can't wait!

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing because it was cold. Everything, from the rice to the eggs and pork, lacked warmth. We couldn't finish our meals and left feeling let down. On our previous visit, the food had been hot and enjoyable. I don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon. View menu

I've always been a fan of fusion restaurants, so I was thrilled when Kim Cheese opened in my neighborhood. I think it's brilliant how they've incorporated fast food elements, complete with a drive-thru and incredibly affordable prices. I doubt I'll ever dine at the McDonald's on Olive and 141 again after discovering this place! LOL!

I visited the drive-thru for the first time and ordered a Kimcheese combo with a Coke, because, well, every fast food restaurant offers combos. However, the response I received was unexpected: "You want a WHAT?" I repeated my order, and instead of a simple confirmation like, "Okay, so you’d like a burger, fries, and a Coke," I got, "We don’t have com-bos, hun." I decided to leave without my food because I don’t need that kind of attitude. I think some additional training for your staff would be beneficial.

"Let me start by saying the food saved this review from being 2 stars. I was alone for dinner, so since this Ruth's Cris was connected to our hotel, and I had not eaten at a Ruth's Cris in almost 20 years, I decided to splurge and have a good steak dinner. I chose to sit at the bar so as not to take up a table. The bar was fairly busy with patrons when I arrived, but after 10 minutes it decreased to about a 1/3 full. I ordered a glass of red wine, the wedge salad, and the classic filet, medium-rare. The wine and salad arrived in a reasonable amount of time and both were good. The lettuce was okay; the bleu cheese crumbles+dressing and bacon crumbles elevated it to good. My filet took awhile to arrive. When it did, it was closer to medium-well than medium-rare. For the first time in my life, I sent the steak back. Another ~15 minutes went by and the manager himself delivered my steak, take 2. This one was properly cooked: medium-rare, and it very good. A while after I finished 1 of the 3 bartenders asked if I was done, and I asked for a dessert menu. I opted for the cheesecake with berries. Another ~15 minutes went by and it arrived. The cheesecake was probably the best part of the whole meal, but I don't know why it took almost 15 minutes to bring it to me unless they had to make it from scratch. There did not seem to be a lack of wait staff, the ones at the bar appeared experienced, the restaurant was ~1/2 full, so I can only guess the cooking staff was the issue. I say that because I heard a table near the bar had an issue with their food, and the manager had to come out to another couple at the bar and smooth them over for their experience. As I said, the food was good and it saved this review from being 2-stars. The staff attentiveness was sporadic, and neither the bar nor the tables were more than 1/2 full while I was there. Atmosphere is upscale steak house: if you've been to a Ruth's Chris before, you know what to expect. So all in all, I will keep my future visits to high-end/high-priced steak houses to other venues. Feel free to give this Ruth's Chris a try for the food, but don't have plans to be anywhere after dinner because you could be here awhile."
