"Went here after craving some Pho for weeks. I sat down and within seconds I was greeted and given a menu. I was impressed by the quick and attentive service provided by the staff, who promptly greeted me upon arrival and offered me a table in a tastefully decorated dining area. The menu options at this establishment were decent, offering a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes and some modern twists. Ordered a bowl of pho as again, I was craving that for weeks and here I am now with the opportunity to have just that. Ordered my pho with extra limes ... few minutes later the bowl was at my table with two small lime wedges. I thought to myself hmm... maybe he didn 't hear me ask for extra limes? , when he came around I asked him for extra limes once again and he kinda game me this look like he had already done so. I didn 't think much of it and a few moments later he brings a ramekin with 1... yes ONE lime wedge. I couldn 't believe my eyes. Has the economic climate with soaring inflation and increasingly climbing interest rates, has that been the driving factor for all the local businesses to tighten up on the extras ? I didn 't ask him for an entire lime, I guess I just expected maybe 3 lime wedges as extra . While this may seem like a small detail to most, it is important to note that the extra lime wedges are essential to achieving the perfect balance of flavors in a traditional Pho dish. Needless to say I was immediately turned off and didn 't even bother using the extra lime wedge he brought. Oh yea and the pho itself was pretty mediocre, not bad but I 've certainly had better and with better service. If limes are expensive, just say you 'll charge extra for extra limes, I don 't mind paying for an entire damn lime if you just give me enough lime! Am I going crazy or what... here I am writing a review about how I got a one piece of lime wedge with my pho. Not worth it, there are other Pho places I 'll be going to next time. This place isn 't it for me."

The owner is very friendly, and the pho tastes amazing. I'll definitely return! Food: 5/5.

Happy with my house special pho. It was clear clean broth. $18 via grubhub.Located across the main Central Street in Kirkland. Looks like a family owned mom and pop shop. I would come back here again to support local small business shop.

I had a great bun, with some unexpected home-made touches. The option of kids menu pho for my daughters was appreciated. This is a nice pho restaurant in downtown Kirkland. The city is lucky to have it. But I'll be damned if we weren't the only ones in here at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon.Shame on you, Kirkland, give these guys all the business they can handle.

The health departments rating of “okay” (2nd lowest is optimistic. Dirty table, menus, walls, silverware. Glassware all chipped. Condiments left out on table were empty and covered in sauces. Truly felt like a Friday night college bar in terms of cleanliness, not a downtown Kirkland restaurant with 3 tables. They were also out of a lot (most??? menu items and the pho we got was mediocre. New owners so a grand reopening. Excellent food perhaps better than before. My children all cleaned their plates. I loved my tofu bun and my husband enjoyed his chicken though he was sad that they no longer serve the whole leg with pho broth. The new owners said that they might bring it back. Very fast service as well.Vegetarian options: Standard Vietnamese veggie options but quite tasty.

I ordered the fried rice and the veggie pho (c3 and c1, respectively). The fried rice was average, but a little drizzle of chili oil enhanced it nicely. The veggie pho with mushroom broth was very flavorful and truly comforting; I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is charming and laid-back. If you're in Kirkland and craving Vietnamese cuisine, this is definitely a worthwhile spot to visit.

Had the house special Pho today and really disappointed of the taste n quality. As a VNese, it didn't taste nothing like Pho, lack of spices, broth is too plain and no beef flavor at all. I used to go to Pho House near Costco alot and it was pretty ok but this new location is a totally different. I give it 2 stars cuz of the good service but other than that, they need to improve their Pho for real. View menu

I was really hoping to enjoy this place when I visited, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment! I was looking for something healthy, so I ordered a mango smoothie for $7. Instead of real fruit, they just added ice, cold milk, and a small amount of yellow syrup from a plastic container, then blended it all together. I was really hoping for actual fruit in my smoothie, but I ended up having to throw it away. I'm very disappointed and definitely won't be coming back.

My GF and I rolled in at 7:15 on a Sunday evening and asked for a table for 4 as we were meeting my kids who were joining us at 7:30. I’ll just say this; the server seemed WAY more concerned about us ordering ASAP, eating as quickly as we possibly could have and paying ASAP. If you want people cleared out of your establishment by 7:45 you should probably say you close at 7:30. I’ve never been so rudely pushed to order, eat and pay as this. Ever. I was fully aware that they closed at 8. We had no plans to stay past 8 at all. We did our best to eat as quickly as possible after she told us they close at 8 (we knew this before we arrived). While we’re still trying our best to eat (7:45) she aske...

"Tucked away in a corner close to two awkwardly placed stoplights is a little Mexican gem with tight parking on an incline. But all of that doesn 't take away from what Plaza Garcia has to offer. If you are looking for superior customer service and great food at a reasonable (inflation adjusted price, this is it. On a hot summer day after a trip to the Juanita Friday market, we decided to grab some dinner even though it felt early bird(ish . The corn on the cob and the Salvadorian Horchata that we consumed at the market generated a kind of half empty half full hunger. We had driven by Plaza Garcia enough times to not ignore the 100% reopening and the packed tables. We caved! A decision that proved right I would say. We were seated right away and offered the traditional salsa and tortilla chips. We asked for hot salsa and the waitstaff got us 2 (a tomatillo and a chili . Very tasty and what can you say when you are offered seconds given that we ordered the Molcajete which does take time to make. We also got the vegetarian burrito. We were quite pleased with the Molcajete served with flour tortillas even though we could not figure out where the Nopales were hiding. Some of the best grilled meats and seafood. The rice and beans did not stand out as much...sort of like La Preferida if you know what I mean. The vegetarian burrito was decent though it lacked sauce on the bottom which would have really enhanced the flavor. Overall, a great experience and am sure it wasn 't the hunger writing this review : If you are looking to support small businesses, Plaza Garcia deserves your best shot."
