"Had dinner with my husband last night. The greeting we received was fantastic. We sat right away. My husband ordered the chicken parm with a salad. The part was huge and her house poppy is great! My husband enjoyed his meal extremely. I ordered the mussels and Hush Welpe Special and I ate every bite! We also enjoyed a brownie cheese cake after dinner. Our waitress Jerri was fabulous! She had a smile. She took care of us very well. It was busy, but the food was not too fast yet, we still have to enjoy every part of our order and also enjoy the atmosphere. I never felt hurried. The owners came to our table that was a great note! Appetizer 2 Entrees and Desert we still go to pay less than $35.00 fabulous place highly recommended. It felt safe like our place. We're coming back!"

Over the past 38 years, I've celebrated numerous birthdays, attended post-high school events, enjoyed St. Patrick's Day festivities, had after-work beers, participated in trivia nights, and savored casual meals within these walls. Throughout my time here, the place has seen several different owners, yet it continues to be one of my favorite spots. The Kohlers have revamped many of the menus since taking over, but the classic favorites are still on offer. I highly recommend the buffalo sheds, hot pretzels, the drip butter and jelly burger, and the macho nachos. And of course, you can't go wrong by washing it all down with a fish bowl bee...
