"Kollective offers perfect iced mochas and hot mochas that are creamy and not overly sweet. Customers have the option to add sugar or stevia to their drinks. The atmosphere at Kollective is great, with comfortable seating arrangements resembling a living room, complete with barstool ledges along the windows. The restaurant serves monster sandwiches and elegant desserts. Located in a large ground floor space in a historic Hot Springs building, Kollective offers a view of the rocky hillside from its rear windows. Overall, it is a must-visit spot in the city for great coffee, delicious food, and cozy seating."

As a vegan from Los Angeles for over 5 years, I can honestly say that this was one of the best vegan meals I have ever had. I highly recommend it.

I had the TALT (basically a BLT with tempeh). Absolutely loved it. Cute space. Right on the edge of the main part of town. Lots of vegan bakery options. Huge Tea list.

They have so many options including pastries, cookies, muffins and meals. I was so conflicted because they all sounded so good. Got a muffin and then a bit later I got the T.A.L.T sandwich. It looks amazing.

"Overall our experience was a 5 star evening. The food was amazing, and the waiter was exceptional. The variety of menu items was great and service was fast but not in a rushed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting when we return to Hot Springs. We had two issues that made it difficult to give a 5 star overall rating. We had reservations at 6pm for 2 and were seated at a small table next to another four topper. There were two lovely booths unoccupied across from us and when asked about them were told they were being held for 7pm reservations. They offered to put us upstairs, which we did, and it was a bar atmosphere with a line of very bright lights shining above us. As mentioned, the food and wait service was amazing but it put a bit of a damper on the evening, especially since we had made reservations. At $250 for two people, it would seem a reservation would allow for a nicer table. Also, at 6pm, they were out of several of their specials which is hard to understand at such an early time on a Friday evening. There was an incredible outdoor bar area that we didn't know existed and would loved to have had a drink in before dinner. Fireplace, great atmosphere, clear plastic on outdoor walls to maintain heat but allow for an outdoor experience, all the pluses! Again, loved our evening, just would have been perfect had not these two items come up."

"The restaurant itself was beautiful and the service was very good. The grilled wedge salad was exceptional as was the cheesecake. I had the smoked pork chop. It was tasty but tough and literally the smallest pork chop I have ever been served. The real problem was with my husband 's Hunters Chicken. The staff indicated that it was an addition to the new fall menu. Unfortunately the chef did not perfect the recipe because it was literally too salty to eat. My husband even made me try it because he was in complete disbelief. He had no choice but to send it back. It was completely uneatable. We are in our sixty 's and have traveled the world. Neither of us have ever sent food back. The waitress handled the situation very gracefully and invited my husband to make another selection. Because she indicated that a new chicken would taste the same, and my husband doesn 't eat red meat, he was forced to order the sea bass. Unfortunately he didn 't enjoy the fish but that is beside the point. We have had plenty of mediocre meals without complaining. That 's the risk you take when you try a new place. The real problem arose when we got our bill. The restaurant charged us full price for the sea bass $55) while the chicken only cost $33). That stung and pardon the pun left a real bad taste in our mouths. I understand that restaurants need to make money and margins are slim, but that was just wrong. I will never go back just on principle. It 's not good business nor is it polite to treat customers that way. I reached out to them privately to let them know I was not satisfied, and give them an opportunity to make it right, but got no response. That is unfortunate."

"If I could only come back to Hot Springs so that I can keep visiting this place to try the amazing German fare they have!! Recommend getting a reservation because they don't really consider walk-ins! We came at our reserved time slot and were seated immediately. The server took some time to get to us though. I ordered the cheese schnitzel with veal and a side of the potato pancake and brussel sprouts. My friend ordered the chicken Dianne with a side of sauerkraut and the noodle spaetzle. I also ordered the lemon flavored Steigel. Everything was AMAZING! You see that food on the plate? I cleaned my plate so that they wouldn't even have to wash it! The cheese sauce was so so good and the veal was perfectly cooked and breaded and fried. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The potato pancake didn't have much flavor by itself but with the cheese sauce from my schnitzel, it was very very good! My friend's chicken Dianne was also good but the sauce wasn't as good as my cheese sauce. I'm not a fan of sauerkraut but the noodle spaetzle was my first time trying and it was delicious. Finally, I hate beer and cannot stand it but have finally found one that is light enough and flavored enough to not taste like beer! For all you beer-dislikers, please try the Steigel lemon. They also have other fruity flavors. Glad we made it here and will definitely eat again if I come back to Hot Springs!"
