"I'd been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made the trip! It doesn't look like much from the outside and is a pretty casual place, but the service was great and our food arrived quickly. The bulgogi beef was super tasty and the combo meal is great value for money. I really enjoyed the crispy rice in the hot stone bibimbap and the overall flavors, but wish there was more sauce and flavor to the rice as there wasn't a large amount of meat in it. I did find that pouring some soup into it helped give some more flavor as well! This is a great place to stop if you're in the area for a delicious casual dinner!"

Loved the side dishes especially! The waiter also pointed out vegetarian options on the menu which was very helpful. Thanks!Food: 5/5

Junk with a capital J. Banchan was gross, Kim chee super bland and watered down, kimchee stew was super sour and watery, barely any beef.

It's not fancy or trendy, but I really appreciate the cozy atmosphere, along with the comforting soup and dishes they serve at reasonable prices. The soup is packed with enough protein to fill you up and warm you on chilly days.

Ordered a dish with no egg. Server said it doesn’t have eggs in it anyways. When the dish came, it was topped with a big fried egg. When asked to replace it, they just removed the top layer and gave it back. Also asked for tea, but never got it. View menu

I've been coming here for five years. Love their combo meals and their refillable sides (as most Korean restaurants do). Service is quick. The vibes is just like most college campus restaurants. You go in for a quick bite and you're out!The portions are typically too big for me to finish in one meal so I get a to-go box and split them into two.

Listen up—YOU NEED TO TRY THEIR WINGS! Throughout my time as a student at UW and dining at KTH, I've always opted for the tofu soup combo with galbi. But recently, I decided to try their sweet and spicy wings, and honestly, they are the best wings I've ever had on the Ave! They even come with rice cakes. I give them a perfect score of 200/10. *You can also call ahead to place a pickup order!*

Came here for dinner and ordered a combo. Maybe I ordered the bad dishes but the bibimbap was just not good. Everything in the bowl didn't feel like it didn't belong together and it just didn't taste good. This is the reason for the lower review. The soup was pretty typical, nothing really special but it was the best thing I got. The side dishes also weren't that good. Everything came out decently quickly and it was inexpensive. View menu

I visited again recently and tried the Spicy Kimchi Pork Bowl. It was incredibly delicious, and I highly recommend any of the dishes served in the hot stone bowls. On my previous visit, I had the Bibimbap Combo without the hot stone bowl, and I missed out on that delightful crispy texture. The wait staff have been very helpful in assisting my vegetarian friends by pointing out which items contain bone broth and suggesting suitable substitutes.

I got food poisoning here. I had a bibimbap combo with beef for dinner yesterday and when I got home I couldn't hold anything down. I experienced chills, fever, and other symptoms of food poisoning. I know it has to be from Kong's because I didn't eat anything else except for a wrapped protein bar at home. My friends ordered the bulgogi pork and kim chee pork and felt fine, so it must have been the veggies, meat, or egg in the bibimbap. Just wanted to write this review so people are warned.
