The octopus hotpot is amazing, with a generous portion that's perfect for two. The side dishes are also quite authentic.

The food was fresh and delicious, with a nice variety of tasty banchan. They also stay open later than most other restaurants in the area.

One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the Bay Area! The authentic Korean cuisine is amazing, and the service is efficient and fantastic. I've been coming here for several years, and the food has consistently been excellent.

I don't have a lot of experience with Korean food, but I happened to discover this restaurant and it was a delightful surprise. I discovered Shu's on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I’d rate it a solid 4 stars! The food was really good! I ordered takeout, and while the service was just okay, the value was impressive. For $118, we received five dishes along with a generous amount of banchan. I tasted everything, and it all passed the test!

Really fresh delicious homestyle Korean cooking here. As soon as u get here, u can self-service your own banchans. There aren't so many. However, it is really clean and fresh. The bean sprouts were very crunchy and the omelets were really soft and tender. They even have hot sweet potato that I love!!! The spicy pork was really tender and there were a lot of tofu in my soup. You can park on the street or in the front and back parking lot. Plus, there r a lot of lunch dishes that were $9.99. I would definitely go back again.

The galbi was fantastic—juicy, tender, and beautifully marinated. The side dishes were also quite good. I particularly enjoyed the kimchi pancake, although I would have liked a more pronounced kimchi flavor. My male server was friendly, but the overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt a bit formal and uninviting. On Sunday night, while the male server was nice, I was put off when an older Korean lady, likely the cook, came to take my order. She didn’t greet me or check in on how I was doing, which made me feel uncomfortable and a bit rushed. It almost made me think about leaving. I think next time, I’ll just opt for takeout and enjoy my meal at home. View menu
