"The menu was very crunchy and tasty, but the reality turned out to be worse than expected. The food was not tasty. And all. we ordered ramen first, asked for a spicy midium, it turned out to be very VERY spicy, I couldn’t even breathe, I choked and began to cough for a long time. The ramen was also sweet. We ordered two different sushi, it turned out to be a salmon skin, this is the worst thing we have ever tried. The skin overpowered the taste. we decided to order another set of sushi, but they were also not tasty. In the end, what we got: three sets of tasteless sushi, sweet and super spicy ramen. bill 105$. The sushi was very expensive and also not tasty, would not recommend this place. For all the time, the waitress came up once and asked if everything was all right, only when I asked for the bill and she brought it, she said “is everything all right?” and after when I gave the card for payment and she brought the bill, the waitress spoke on the phone."

I don't think tempuras are suppose to be soft and watery. The miso ramen was meh at best.

Too much rice in sushi. Not upscale sushi. More like supermarket quality but a lot more pricy View menu

The portions are ample and reasonably priced, and the staff were prompt and efficient. I returned a second time and had a similar experience. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!

Had a wonderful meal here with my wife. Staying nearby and we were intrigued. I had a sashimi/sushi meal and my wife enjoyed a nice curry dish. All the food tasted great and portions were great. Would stop by again.

This unpretentious little shop offers delicious veggie ramen and okonomiyaki. Everything we tried was great, and I really enjoyed the ambiance. Even the mild ramen has quite a kick; my girlfriend went through two napkins but couldn’t stop eating—she said it “burns so good.” Just a heads-up for those with a low spice tolerance! View menu

We have travelled to San Francisco many times and we have visited various restaurants until we discovered Kui Shin Bo on this trip. We loved it so much that we were there practically every day, either for brunch, lunch or dinner. The food menu is exhaustive and the staff is extremely friendly, accommodating and hospitable. They have an innovative sushi/maki menu designed by their chef/owner. Just amazing!I would rate it 10

The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, including sushi, udon, and ramen. We ordered gyoza, tendon, and ramen. While the portions were generous for the price, the flavors were somewhat lacking. We found the gyoza to be the standout dish, but the ramen was overcooked. The service left something to be desired; our waiter was quite impatient and even spat on the floor while taking our order. While this may be acceptable in some cultures, it felt quite unhygienic to us. As for vegetarian options, they do have lamen and gyoza available.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
