"The lunch service was quite slow, despite there being only two diners in the restaurant. My server appeared a bit confused but managed to fulfill my order. The delivery drivers for takeout were consistently coming in, which seemed to overwhelm the single server with the influx of orders. I found the daal soup to be extremely spicy—eating it was quite a challenge. On the other hand, the okra (bhindi masala) had a medium level of spice. I was asked how spicy I wanted my food, so I was surprised by the stark difference in seasoning between the two dishes. The portion sizes were..."

The food was fresh and well-seasoned. I especially enjoyed the samosas and the Tibetan chicken dumpling soup. The goat dish was also great, and it was served with fluffy rice that really enhanced the flavor of the sauce.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here before attending a concert at the BSO. It was calm when we first arrived, but it soon became busier. The service was exceptional, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the tandoori salmon, and it was truly remarkable.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere and decor pleasant, and the service good. We were there late, and only two or three other tables were occupied, so the staff were attentive and helpful. Kumari is now a permanent fixture on our go-to list of restaurants when in the mood for good, authentic Indian food. View menu

I have to add a review because this has been my must go to place for Indian food! Butter chicken is my all time favorite and I just tried the garlic naan today, IT WAS SUPER GOOD!!!!!! I can?t wait for their lunch buffet to come back! My sister loved their butter chicken so much although she didn?t like Indian food before. This restaurant is such a gem in Baltimore.

Absolutely incredibly spicy! My sinuses are completely clear now. I also noticed that the same song seemed to play throughout our entire meal. Not a complaint, just an intriguing choice. Those musicians must have had impressive stamina. Overall, it was a fantastic evening with delicious food and excellent service. I may have left with a few less taste buds, but I would definitely come back!

Authentic South Indian and North Indian cuisine. Generous portions in each dish. The quality of the food is excellent. I highly recommend the lamb biryani and chicken kebabs. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the ample servings allowed us to take home leftovers. The ambiance is perfect for small group gatherings. The place is quite serene, and there’s a bar with a limited selection, though I didn’t try it. View menu

"I have to start by saying the service was outstanding—one of the best I've ever experienced! We ordered tandoori chicken, goat curry, and steamed chicken momos. The tandoori chicken and momos were both delicious, but the goat curry could have been a bit more tender. Despite that, I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. The momos were initially served a little cold, but the staff kindly reheated them for us, and overall, we had a fantastic dining experience."

Unfortunately, not a big fan. I ordered for delivery, and it did arrive fast. Super fast. Which was great. And it was piping hot. I tried both Chicken Vindaloo and Butter Chicken. Those two things usually are very similar no matter where you get them from. But these are definitely different than usual. The Butter Chicken is way more tomato based than Cream than usual. It 's not bad, just different. The Vindaloo, despite requesting Indian Hot really wasn 't all that spicy,

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
