"I had heard from friends that Kupel's is one of the very few kosher restaurants in Boston, so I was looking forward to trying their offerings. The bakery was bustling around lunch time on a Sunday. The menu is quite fun each sandwich is an MBTA stop name colored as its respective MBTA line. But, as I experienced, perhaps the fun naming scheme leads to mixups in making the orders. I ordered the Hynes, which is supposed to have egg salad, lox, tomato, and onion. I ended up having tuna salad in my bagel sandwich instead. The tuna salad was pretty unremarkable. I liked the lox (wish there was more of it), and the bagel was fine. When we went back to ask for the egg salad, they kindly gave us a small tub of egg salad as a replacement. However, I didn't enjoy the egg salad either it was not creamy and the egg white pieces were very tiny. I also got the elephant ear pastry, which had some weird discolored speckles on it. One bite that I had tasted like mold, so I ended up tossing it. I wouldn't try their pastries again it doesn't seem like they're guaranteed to be fresh. Overall, Kupel's is a very affordable option with a wide array of bagel sandwich combination options. Perhaps too many options...my friend's order got mixed up as well it didn't have any of the ingredients it was supposed to have and I've heard of more mixups in the past. I think Kupel's is a very important establishment that caters to many dietary restrictions at a reasonable price, and the employees are very nice about making up for wrong orders, but based on my experiences, I probably would not come back. I definitely do not recommend trying the pastries..."

Ordered delivery from here, it took a while so the bagel was not as warm but still tasted perfect. Would definitely try again

I used to work nearby and come here every day for a bagel sandwich for lunch. Their bagels are some of the best outside of NY. They also have yummy baked goods, and I would always check for their 50% off bagged items. They go quickly! Not a ton of parking in this area though : . Fully accessible.

What a gem of a place! I had to go to Brookline for an MRI and I had never been there before. Kupel’s caught my eye as I was driving by and I had to go check it out. I got an egg and cheese bagel and a blueberry muffin to try and, wowzers, they were absolutely delicious! Staff was friendly and fast in service and I can’t wait to go back again! View menu

Best bagels in Boston area. My family and I have been eating these bagel for over 50 years. We've move south to Westport Ma and every time we're in Brookline or Boston we have to get our hit of Kupel's. Their verity of bagels from everything to the saltiest bagel's to pumpernickel to sesame to what ever. And remember a dozen gets you 13. Besides bagels there cream cheese (lox, chive or plain) and not leaving out the best our last is their whitefish spread. I've turn more people on to that spread! Anyway always busy so on Sunday's get their early this fixture is a Brookline hall of fame establishment.

My boyfriend and I took a drive over to Kupel’s because we heard they had tofu cream cheese! The place is super cute on the outside and was quite busy on the inside which always leads us to believe it’s a great place, and we were not disappointed! I got the jalapeño bagel with chive tofu cream cheese and tomato, and my boyfriend got a poppy seed bagel with chive tofu cream cheese, tomato, and cucumber. We also ordered a couple of bagels and a tub of cream cheese for the next couple of days. I would recommend! For a while, we forgot we were even eating vegan cream cheese! Tip: order ahead so you don’t have to wait in line!!

"If you’re looking for some of the most flavorful, fresh, and delicious ramen, you have to check out Isshindo Ramen! If you’re a ramen fan like me, you know the KEY to a good ramen boils down to the broth and the noodles. Some places the broth is too salty or “greasy”. You don’t have that issue here.I’ve gone to many ramen spots in multiple cities and this place keeps me coming back. Every time I am in Boston I must order from here. Luckily for me, I’ll be spending part of my year in Boston- so I’ll get to enjoy it more often! The broth is super flavorful, savory, and creamy. It is made using a specially treated water and boiled pork bones. This is what gives you that amazing broth and flavor! It’s also loaded with vitamins and nutrients. It is a great option for those looking for an alternative to traditional soup! The noodles used in the ramen are a little different than other Ramen spots- and that is okay! The noodles are more straight than traditional ramen noodles you know. They cook them perfectly so they aren’t mush. The broth is packaged separate for delivery- as to keep everything fresh and hot. The noodles will continue to cook in the boiling hot broth. Some places don’t account for that and the noodles don’t hold up. This place knows the deal and factors that in. I like that.Lastly, the chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth incredible. You get four large, soft, and delicious cuts of pork belly in your ramen. I like to break the big pieces up. They don’t skimp at all on the quality or quantity of the meat. The ramen is also generously served with Woodear mushrooms, scallion, bean sprouts, nori seaweed, and a soy egg.I have ordered delivery from here multiple times and it’s my favorite spot in town for ramen. It’s always delivered piping hot and packaged very well! The broth is packed separate, as to keep the noodles from overcooking in the hot broth. It also prevents a soggy ramen. The packaging is perfect. I’ve never had anything spill or leak. They also include chopsticks and a soup spoon. Order is always accurate. If you love ramen, you’ve got to give Isshindo a try! You won’t be disappointed.Pro Tip: I recommend a ramen for each adult. However, if you want a bit bigger portion you can add extra noodles for a small up charge- that’s what I usually do. But aside from that, portions are generous. I just like extra noodles.I look forward to eventually eating here in person. But for now- delivery has not disappointed me yet! My favorite spot for ramen!"
