"Out of my way during the day..... Well worth the extra time and fuel... Staff, always pleasant.... As for the juice...... price seems quite high..... until you drink it, finding yourself in a veritable nirvana... Hahahah. Seriously though folks ... I have a sunshine juice heavy on the ginger, and this delicious cup of magic powers me through the rest of the day....... even when I miss breakfast and have a cup o juce Liquid lunch, seems to keep me sharp and full beyond dinner.... Not that it would hurt me to miss a meal..... this is a nutritious and delicious way to accomplish that... ALSO. Bowl of the gods...... Same thing. Freaking amazing.."

This is an excellent spot to enjoy a smoothie on a warm summer day. The service is quick!

The mission shell is out of this world. Her green juice, Liquid Sunshine, is aptly named as well.

Kure has been our family's go-to spot for delicious juices and healthy meals on the go since they opened. Trü is a HUGE FAN!

Usually you can say whether spirulina in a drink or smoothie, but the food in a cup? I ordered was pure mocha color. How much spirulina did I ask? A pinch? View menu

The Extra Mile smoothie is my favorite, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Everything is delicious! Each item is made to order and is truly good for you!

Well no exceptions. I arrived at 5:01pm after a long walk and they can?t make me a smoothie. Make sure come early. Whoever is working today 6/22/2022, I?m sorry that you are under staff today.

The prices have increased significantly, and they don't accept cash payments. When I asked the staff member about this, he said it was due to COVID. I pointed out that all mandates have ended. Then I noticed he was accepting cash tips. I asked him why they take cash for tips but not for payments, referring to COVID. I won't be returning there since I prefer using cash, which doesn't spread COVID. View menu

This location doesn?t have the full menu offerings as the other Kure locations. Doesn?t make much sense considering the ingredients largely overlap. The service is subpar for an overpriced smoothie. There are also a lot of flies in the waiting area. Maybe due to the season but is very gross. All in all save yourself the money and go to another Kure location or another smoothie place ?-editing since I cannot reply to the reply from the owner: Hawthorne location. Berried alive smoothie (not hot/requiring anything in the oven). Asked staff and they said it was not offered at that location as it was not on the menu.

I went to the restaurant with high expectations, eager to try their açaí bowl. The staff member was out for a moment, so we waited, but that wasn't a big deal since there was a nice shop nearby to pass the time. When we finally got back, we ordered two small açaí bowls. They were prepared quickly and looked appealing, but here’s my honest opinion: the taste was quite disappointing. It had a lot of chocolate on it and not much fruit, making it flavor more like a protein shake. I ended up eating only half and then had to throw the rest away. This experience was at the Hawthorne location, and I was hoping for better.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
