"This is a locally owned ice cream place along the road in Elliotsville. We stopped here after going to the driving range down the road. The menu was huge. I told the guy at the window that we had never been there before, so it would be a minute (when he asked what we wanted). It was a Friday around 2pm and we were the only ones in line outside. He was a bit rude and not helpful to even answer my questions about what a cyclone was or guide me on ordering something I would like. They have a window at the front to order and also a drive-through. They have lots of parking. There's a side eating area, but in February, it doesn't look appealing. I asked what brand the icecream was, because sometimes business will put homemade but it actually isn't. The guy and girl at the window were a little taken aback and said it's homemade, which told me its actually homemade. I decided to order a sundae with a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter with caramel sauce. It came in a Styrofoam cup. I also ordered a taco Supreme which was soft shell, ground beef meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream. The icecream tasted good! But I got whipped cream and a cherry and I didn't ask for that part. I should have gotten something crunchy in it too, but o well. The taco was good, but it was just a normal taco, nothing fancy."

"The google reviews lie when they say “it’s quick and kid friendly”.. I had the WORST experience here on Sunday. My 3 year old got up from his seat to come give me a hug and when he went to go back around the table to his seat by his Mimi this lady came up to him and asked him why he was out of his seat, told him to sit down then had the audacity to tell him “you’re mom should be telling you to sit down”.. excuse me? But it didn’t stop there.. my 1 year old started crying when I took her syrup away (because she was making a mess) and the same lady actually came out of the kitchen and told her “you need to be quiet”. Now, this lady was NOT our waitress and as I sat there I gathered that she had a nasty attitude towards all the waitress staff as well. I made a post on Facebook when I got home and the OWNER actually got on there and told me it was his WIFE treating my children and their staff this way, then went on to say it was an untrue post. He has since fallen silent when met with plenty of people who disagree with the way they handle their business. I’ll will never eat here again."

"Ok here 's the GIG. As a home town Hoosier here I 've tried just about everything and every diner I can. I live here. Gotta try everything you know! So many restaurants here in Bloomington and abroad are very good. Some are not. This place is no exception! It actually goes above and beyond traditional in terms of taste, quality of food, and home town service. The food here is Grade A. Fresh. From their greens to their meats. They got a connection or something. I 've been here now twice and both times off the chain excellent! I heard their steak burgers are one of the best you will ever try. I tried it today. They were correct. That was an amazing burger! This place is a hidden gem for good food! Your taste buds won 't regret it. I 'll be back! J.A. Bloomington IN"

"Not possible to get lunch if you only have 30 minutes. I'm not sure what the issue is here, maybe they won't hire people at a living wage or perhaps won't work with people on the amount of hours? The lobby is closed and the drive through takes over 15 mins with two cars in front of you to just get your food. Not necessarily the fault of the few employees working, but this location is not doing well. Update; I'm sure the automatic, generic reply is nice for some, but I honestly don't appreciate a robot telling me how to contact another one to get some amount off of a purchase in the future. Why would more wasted time in a drive through help?"
