"The staff were absolutely wonderful. The food was decent, and the portion sizes were certainly impressive; I ordered the 'mini-burrito,' and it turned out to be the size of a regular burrito. Unfortunately, the flavors were somewhat lacking. The beef in my burrito was a bit dry and didn't have much seasoning. Their tortilla chips had a unique taste, reminiscent of Fritos. The queso was more on the salty side rather than cheesy, but the salsa was quite good. I would definitely consider returning to try some different menu items. The establishment itself was very clean and well-maintained, and my to-go order was ready almost immediately after I paid."

Those delicious lengua tacos still keep me awake at night just thinking about them. They were incredibly juicy and tender. This was some of the best food I've had in a long time.

It's a nice lil Mexican place with quick to go selections and big portions. The guys are really cool that run the place an they love their customers . We got enuff food for dinner and to have for lunch the next day. 3 of us had a lot left for lunch .

Cactus and cow tongue? I never would have imagined trying those dishes anywhere, but I did just that on my vacation. The lengua tacos and baked cactus were absolute delicacies, and I can hardly believe I initially hesitated to try them. My loaded quesadilla was enormous—actually bigger than my head! I had to save half of it for lunch the next day. The horchata was the best I've ever had, and we managed to enjoy a full feast for four people, complete with leftovers, for under $70. I wish we hadn’t been so worn out and could have taken more photos. The service was fantastic, and I can honestly say I've experienced some incredible authentic food. View menu

"Now, let's talk about the food. The crab cake appetizer was the best we've ever had! It was mostly pure crab with just enough breadcrumbs on the outside to hold it together, featuring large chunks of crab. Delicious! We had heard repeatedly that Repeal has the best steaks in the city, so we felt we had to try them. Unfortunately, we didn't agree. My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side, even though I requested it medium well (with a bit of pink). My husband’s steak was undercooked despite him ordering medium well, too. While we could have sent them back, we usually don’t unless something is inedible, so we were just disappointed. The steaks were still edible and good—just not great! The $20 twice-baked potato wasn’t worth the price, even with truffle slices and truffle oil included. The Caesar salad was also underwhelming. The white anchovies were an interesting addition, but they didn’t elevate the salad for us. The bread pudding, however, was fantastic! I highly recommend it. On the downside, the cocktails were below par. I know this may seem like a harsh critique of Repeal, but that’s not my intention! I think we set our expectations too high and were somewhat let down given the prices. With that said, would I go back? Yes! I would just choose very different items from the menu next time and likely opt for wine over cocktails."
