"Love the people here, the service, and the food. They have menu selections of Mexican and American entrees. The prices are reasonable, such as $10.99, $12.99, etc. They have kiddie selections and senior selections. No buffet, so all orders are fresh. The mural painting of the beautiful Hispanic woman is wonderful, who happens to be the daughter of the original owner. La Fiesta has had many years in Artesia, having first started out on N. Roselawn, then 13th St., and currently on S. 1st St. I can remember going to La Fiesta as a child, so that speaks for itself. May La Fiesta have many more good years. Thank you to the staff for attending to our large party of 11 people. Your smiles and care made it a very special time for us. The food was delicious"

I ordered a large menudo and it was delicious. It had the perfect level of spice that I enjoy. I will definitely order it again. My only suggestion is for them to open earlier on Saturdays.

We tried to go for lunch at 12:30. Someone came out the door and someone from inside pulled the door shut and locked the deadbolt even though the open sign was on. No communication about them being busy or anything. Just locked out. View menu

The doors were locked when the sign said it was open. It was 12:00 when it says it closes at 2. If they're going to do that, there should be a sign at least, poor communication. At least have common courtesy to let people that are not from here, know.

I prefer to support small or large family-owned businesses because I believe it is important to support and take care of each other in the community. This is especially true when the restaurant is family-run rather than being part of a larger corporation. This is why I choose to dine at restaurants like this in my hometown of Artesia.

"I immediately called the restaurant to explain the situation, and the staff member on shift assured me it would be no problem to correct the order. I provided my husband's name and told her I would give her the order number, but she said she could see it and would handle it. When my husband picked up the order, he confirmed that they had agreed to make the corrections, but when we got home, we discovered that nothing had changed. I called back to address the issue, and the staff member sincerely apologized and promised a refund for the incorrect bowl. However, a minute later, Jasmine called me back with an attitude, claiming she couldn't issue the refund because the order was under my name and not my husband's. I tried to explain that I had offered to provide the order number and mentioned that the website issue had caused the confusion, and that someone had already offered me a full refund. Instead, she only offered a 10% discount on the order. I inquired about when I could speak to the main manager or owner, but Jasmine told me they come in at their convenience and that she would make sure they would address the refund when they had a chance to speak with me. This entire situation could have been handled much more professionally, and I am left wondering when the manager or owner will reach out to resolve the mistake that Jasmine created over a mere $11."

"This evening, on 3/13/22, I as well as a family member had a bad service experience at La Travolta in Artesia. We had called at about 7:30 pm to see if they were still taking in customers and we were told by the young lady, whom, when we arrived was actually the hostess, that they were until 8:30 pm. We arrived at 8:00 pm and to our surprised the hostess indicated they were not taking in any more customers and that the tables were full. Totally a contrary of what she informed us over the phone. So we decided to order to go and spent about $150.00. The minute we walked out, two young ladies came in and to our total shocked...because it was obvious they were toldo to wait outside as we were also waiting for our to go meal. It wasn't long before two customers left, the hostess cleaned the table and sat the two young ladies that actually came AFTER us. It appears the hostess picks and chooses whom to let in and sit at a table since I feel we should have been given the unoccupied table as we arrived before the young two ladies that were sited. We did complain, the hosted attempted to defend her position by saying there was miscommunication which was a totaled lie. Actually what was expressed was in simple English on our part but, of course, she needed to defend the wrong she committed. I can honestly say I will not be returning to this place as well as my family since it was obvious what was done to us."
