Came to La Chicanita on Sunday after leaving another restaurant because of the long wait time. They welcomed us here immediately and were so nice! The tortillas are homemade and delicious. Will definitely be coming back! View menu

The food was bad, the pozole cold and salty, the prices are different from what they charge. Plus the Mandatory 20% of tips? I thought giving tips was optional since they don't do anything additional. They're just doing their jobs as waiters, but a mandatory $30 tip? Even if I work hard I won't earn that in 1 hour. I used to go very often. But no more.

The service was very poor. We had to wait a long time for our food, and the drinks were no better. We ordered margaritas that came without ice and tasted like diluted water instead of being frozen as requested. No one ever checked in with us to see if we needed anything, so we ended up having to get up to ask for the bill. The tortillas were burnt, and the rice was hard and cold, giving the impression that it had been sitting around for days. On top of all that, they still added a tip to our bill.
