"I asked if there was a problem, and she explained that the other customer was unable to pay for her groceries and was waiting to figure out how to get money. I was confused about how they planned to resolve it. I requested that she cancel the other customer’s order so I could pay for mine, but she refused, saying she couldn't do that. When I inquired how long I would have to wait, she wouldn’t give me an answer and didn’t seem willing to find a solution. Her attitude was rude, and she acted as if there was nothing she could do to help me. After about 15 frustrating minutes, the other customer finally found some cash to pay for her items, and only then was I able to complete my transaction and leave. This experience will likely be my last visit to this establishment. The cashier, who might be the owner or a relative of the owner, clearly lacks good customer service skills and was incredibly rude throughout the ordeal."

The food is fantastic, but the woman behind the counter can be a bit rude at times.

I asked for a refund because there was a fly flying around the food. The employee responded with a bad attitude. I would not recommend this place.

I absolutely love the Pastor tacos here! The ones from the hot bar are delicious, but I prefer to customize my own with the wide variety of meats and vegetables available.

The barbacoa looked unappetizing, resembling dog food. It tasted spoiled and was overpriced. The limes were poor quality at $1.75 for three, and the avocado was nearly $4. View menu

Amazing Mexican cuisine at incredibly low prices, with no need to tip! The vibe is very relaxed and there’s no dress code. One taco is huge—enough for a full meal—and only $2.79. The beef soup is a favorite among many; it comes in a generous bowl packed with beef and vegetables for $10, making it a satisfying dish. This is my favorite place for casual Mexican food, and it also serves as a grocery store!

I visited this restaurant twice in the past week. As an English speaker who has studied some Spanish, I found the staff to be incredibly friendly, and today, other customers even helped me with communication. I picked up some baked goods and two fajita plates during my visit. They kindly allowed me to substitute veggies for beans, and I plan to try the beans next time. The Mexican rice was excellent as well. On my last visit, we bought a large quantity of marinated fajita beef, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place! Today, I admired the mangos and really wanted to buy some, but I held off as it was a limited-time visit. Give them a try if you can! They offer tacos, me...

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
