"This is a cozy little Mexican restaurant that you could easily miss even after driving by it numerous times. My barber recommended it for the best tacos, and I have to say, I was not disappointed. While the place may not have much ambiance, the service was decent, and the fresh tortillas, salsa, pork, and beef were out of this world. After spending 11 years in Texas, I've finally found the best tacos. At just $3.00 each, I was satisfied with two, and I'm not a small guy! If you appreciate authentic cuisine and love these hidden gems, you won't be let down. However, if you're looking for a more polished dining experience like a chain restaurant, you might want to keep driving and let us enjoy this fantastic food."

These are truly the best tacos you will ever taste. The flour tortillas are made from scratch and cooked fresh to order.

Great place to eat! Handmade tortillas (in my opinion) make or break a good restaurant. The wait staff us amazing and super friendly. Definitely coming back! View menu

This la palma is always amazing! The food is always so fresh and you can get breakfast at any time of day for a small extra price. Their salsas are great and they also make their own auga frescas and horchata.

This is my favorite taco spot in Conroe/The Woodlands. They have generous portions of salsa and chips, an excellent menu, homemade tortillas, and a wide variety of other options. While the place may not be visually appealing, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. View menu

By far the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve eaten anywhere. This is one of those whole in the wall places that will blow you away. Everything is homemade in house. The chips and salsa are Fresh and outstanding. The homemade tortillas are simply to die for. I had the carne de asada. The meat was super tender and well seasoned. The Mexican enchiladas with verde sauce blew the doors off the wagon. Don’t miss this hidden gem if your anywhere in the area. You will not be disappointed !!

The best breakfast tacos around homemade tortillas, generous amount of eggs, white melty cheese, and excellent fresh salsa. However the wait time is too long for a busy morning, it’s always at least 15 minutes or 30 40 minutes if they have larger orders. The server who probably is the owners relative always looks like she doesn’t want to be there and comes up only to take your order and bring food out. I get frustrated with the service but go back on weekends inly for good tacos.

"Why 5 stars? Because my long awaited visit was well worth it. I moved to the area about 15 months earlier and bookmarked basically everything within 10 miles that had 4.5 stars or more. Fabulous Pho was one of those places and I've probably considered coming here approximately 217 times since that day. The only reason it took me so long is because I rarely head in that direction for anything. I often head south, which means I end up patronizing plenty of places in the Woodlands, Magnolia, Tomball and Spring. But Conroe, especially this part of Conroe is not usually where I'm hanging out. Unless, of course, I do so solely to come to a fine establishment like this. I was pretty hungry when I arrived and also very torn on if I should go the banh mi route or the noodles route. Why not both? The bread for the banh mi was the softest I have ever had, by far. I basically just ate pork and veggies in between a couple of small pillows. And I very much enjoyed it. In addition, I couldn't resist the urge to order the pan fried rice noodles. I thought I would box some up and take them home for the wife, but they were too delicious to share. The flavor of the fried batter around the noodles was incredibly addicting and unique. I don't think I've ever noticed this dish on a menu before, but maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough. From now on, when I see it, I'm ordering it. And I'll always remember Fabulous Pho for introducing me to this gem of a meal. Lastly, I ordered a tara boba drink. It was a little on the runny side, but still quite delicious. I regret waiting so long to come here and will definitely not wait 15 months for visit #2!"
