"I give Italian bistro Sangaree 5 stars. I?m surprised I found this restaurant bc it?s a hole in the wall. I have gone here several times over a year so these pictures are a collection of different occasions and each time (besides one time) they havenever disappointed. I?m originally from Ct so I know what good food is and appreciate good quality food that stays consistent!Also the prices are affordable! This is the one restaurant where you WILL get a big serving NOT BURN THROUGH YOUR WALLET andWILL be FULL and SATISFIED! The ONLY thing that happened one time bc they were very busy is the calamari was over cooked. But Ihave gotten it SEVERAL times before and it?s always crunchy and cooked perfectly! Also the small salad that comes with your mealwith salad dressing is my favorite! They don?t have too many places like this anymore. Also don?t make the mistake of callingthe other Italian bistro. "Emily was very attentive professional. The ambiance and restaurant is beautiful and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We were sat right away and immediately were greeted by Emily. On the other hand by the end of our experience we found ourselves Disappointed with the quality of food we received as we had to send back both of our dishes because they were not hot after waiting some time for them to arrive. We were also surprised by the portion sizes compared to the price. For example you’ll receive 4 small pcs for $14 of the crab fritter. She crab soup, Cesar salads dessert of the month were great. Overall for $150 20% gratuity spent and to never interact with a manager over our mishaps we were left very disappointed and will not return or refer anyone to dine here because of this."

"Awful experience at this restaurant. The food was bland, portions were small, and the atmosphere was noisy with TVs on. The waitstaff was strange and pushy, with the woman who seated us pointing instead of directing. The waitress was loud and intrusive, shoving her tip pad in your face at the end of the meal. I have been to many restaurants and this was one of the worst. The prices were high for such bad quality food. Save your money and avoid this place. The butter noodles were mushy with no flavor, and the fish was overcooked. Watch out for hidden fees on your credit card bill as well."

"I’ll give this place a Five star rating. Other reviews stated it was over priced for the food. When you dine at this level it does costs. Compared to the other steak places this is in top 3. Ribeye was flavorful, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The filet’s was tender cooked perfectly and very tasty accompanying with the truffle butter. The Brussels sprouts was cooked excellent, the pepper Jack corn was a good choice for one of the sides. Mac and cheese always a staple. The dishes the sides on a side accompanying plate which is a nice touch not to crowd the main dinner steak. Everyone was very attentive and glasses never more then half empty. Halls Chophouse is a must visit. Reservations are needed as this is a very hopping place."

"A Summerville staple if you can find a parking spot. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I finally got to eat here with my dad. Have tried with my mom before but alas the parking situation makes it hit or miss as to whether you 'll have to find somewhere else. We went on a Sunday afternoon in the spring which was Perfect on their outdoor patio. The hostess had quick zinger comebacks to my dad 's corny quips. Dad struggles with his hearing aids in loud crowded environments and there were no problems here as we were able to sit outside, spaced out from the other diners. We both went full send on the Big Nasty which is an overloaded pile of tater tots covered in crab cakes, gator sausage and all sorts of creamy cheesy gooey goodness. Neither of us could finish it, but we still caved and got the chocolate pecan pie which was one hundred percent worth it and we might 've fought over the last bite. Service was perfect, never took too long, but never overly attentive. Highly recommend, even if you have to try several times to get in."
