"Lamoon is my favorite Thai restaurant in Silver Spring. Their lunch special is incredible value, combined with authentic Thai flavors, great portions, and an affordable price in a time when many restaurants have drastically increased prices.I typically get Lamoon to go, as I prefer taking Thai food home. The restaurant is quiet, has plenty of seating and is fairly empty at the times I have gone to eat. Service is quick, with food typically coming out in 10 minutes or less. There can be difficulty finding street parking but there is public garage parking nearby. Lamoon is a must try if you're craving Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Green Curry (exceptionally good here), or Ka Prow."

We ordered takeout from them for the first time and tried the green curry, tamarind fried duck, and Yum Woon Sen. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back! Food: 5/5

Had the veggie Tofu Tods and the Peanut Tofu with Broccoli. Tofu was dry as hell. No seasoning at all and no taste at all. And two hours later my stomach is bot feeling well. Thanks.

I really adore this charming Thai restaurant. The service was excellent; although there was only one person serving, she was very friendly. The food is incredible and reasonably priced. Food: 5/5 View menu

Yummy food and very reasonably priced. Considering the place was empty (it was an odd time of day) service could’ve been faster. But the staff was very friendly and once we ordered the food came quickly.Food: 5/5

One of the best Thai restaurants in Maryland and DC area! Tastes very authentic, bursts of flavor, you can request for spicy and great friendly atmosphere. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao Tofu, Duck Noodle Soup, Pad Kra Pow and Som Tum (Papaya Salad).

We ordered calamari and it was over cooked. Ordered the pomegranate lemonade and it was way too sweet. The spring rolls I ordered was decent. The waiter kept scratching his hair and the restaurant was emptyZ definitely wouldn't return as I didn't have a great experience. View menu

I had to spit out my Lard Na because it tasted like it had gone bad. Sour and awful. The sauce and broccoli tastes like it was made days ago and left to rot.I ordered the same dish 3 days ago and it was sweet and savory and delicious. I had 2 orders of the Lard Na tonight for me and my mom so that's almost $30 down the drain. My dad's Pad See Ew was fine, nothing special.

Lamoon Thai has quickly become one of my favorite places since I moved to Silver Spring. I’ve tried a variety of dishes from the menu on multiple occasions, and I have never been let down. Some of my top picks are the creamy Kao Soi—perfect for lifting your spirits after a tough day—the Duck Noodle Soup, any of their delicious curries, the crispy calamari, and their Thai Chicken Wings. I highly recommend checking out their lunch menu and happy hour!
