"Stopped in for lunch after visiting Gateway Park. First time to Fort Collins, Gateway and the LaPort area. So glad we stopped for lunch! What a hidden gem!! Service is excellent very friendly. Food made to order, fresh. While waiting, the owner of 30 years, brought us all a sample of the soup of the day broccoli cheddar. It was wet tasty! Also, while eating he brought a fresh loaf of bread as it was my first trip to Colorado, Fort Collins, the mountains and to his amazing restaurant. We heard the backstory and how he’s opened his doors to so many throughout the years. Truly a remarkable staple in LaPorte, CO!! Will return on our next visit and one day will call Colorado our home! Thank you for welcoming us to your place you’ve called home for thirty years! 30 year anniversary planned for June 2025 per the owner."

Absolutely incredible food and lovely people! I dined in for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was around $10–20. Everything about this place deserves a perfect score: the food, service, and atmosphere all rated a solid 5 out of 5!

We dine at this restaurant every time we visit town. This year, while staying at the KOA campground, we were curious about how to get our favorite pizza without having to move our RV. To our delight, they deliver! The pizza arrived hot and incredibly delicious. Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

I paid $11.50 for two slices of the worst pizza I've ever had, along with a soggy, doughy sub roll they give to new customers. On top of that, I had to wait 20 minutes for just those two slices. Gross. I should also mention that the pizza seemed undercooked—it was mushy, floppy, and falling apart in the box, and now my stomach hurts. Service: Takeout Meal type: Lunch.

THE place to stop in Laporte aka LaPortarico for homemade dough and bread for delicious sandwiches and garlic bread. Old school vibe with Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road for three player racing action while you wait! Wild Cherry Pepsi fresh from the fountain AND they deliver! (if you're nearby, sorry South FoCo! Family owned and run for great pizza, sandwiches, and house manicotti and lasagna! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free medium pizza crust available for $5 more! Kid-friendliness: Large space for roaming, coin operated goodie machines, and actual cabinet arcade racing game!

"First time visitors. We stopped after a long weekend working both days long hours. We wanted a steak meal. That's not what we got, we GOT a absolutely outstanding perfectly prepared meal. Our drinks were made to perfection as well. I recommend the Rum Punch its a well blended triple rum concoction! We ordered Ribeye steaks one paired with garlic mashed potatoes another with custard potatoes both were nicely paired and balanced meal. The presented crackers that were homemade and warm along with rolls and butter very tasty!! After reviewing the drink menu and making selections we ordered our main course. Our drinks were bought timely and enjoyed! Perfectly time dinner arrived and it was mouth watering melt in your mouth steak!! Afterwards we made a selection from the dessert menu to share at home. The portions are generous but not too much. The food is high quailty and we felt reasonable for the $31 price tag for the Ribeye meal. The resturant is well appointed but comfortable and the lake side views are beautiful. You will find the dining area and bar cozy and warm perfect for a dining experience of this caliber. The only negative I would suggest is an update to the signage along US 35. There is alot of wording there and it isn't easy to understand what is at the property. The signage needs to match the high quality of the resturant in my opinion the signage sells it short. We find this resturant by a Google search. We live out of town and have driven past this property for years..we will return and thank you for a wonderful experience"
