"We had a charming outdoor table under a tree. The ambiance was a 10. Unfortunately the food was about a 5. I had the scallops which were served in a scallop shell that was full of water. No crispy outside sear. The gnocchi side was bland and the mushroom sauce very thin in consistency. This was my first time back since the reopening. Disappointing, especially since this place isn't cheap."

"Whenever I visit Kansas City, I always make sure to stop by Gunauer. The service and food are consistently excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great spot for business meetings, as the noise level is never too high like in many other restaurants."

"What a fun venue! I'm always looking for restaurants with a good selection for my vegan friend and the Westside local fills that void. Although reservations are recommended we arrived Sunday for brunch without any and were seated in less than 10 minutes. Mat , at the front was very helpful and welcoming. Our waitress, Hannah was great! She was very friendly , knowledgeable and efficient. Even though the place was jumping (and a bit loud) she never acted or made us feel rushed quite the contrary she made us feel quite welcome like regulars. The food was fantastic! My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy, mushroom gravy with no meat. I had the country Benny and it was great! We lucked out with a parking space right by the door otherwise the street parking is very limited. Highly recommend. I am sure to return soon. Thank you for a pleasant experience."

"Nice and beautiful location. We were able to get a patio table without a reservation and no wait time. They have a good variety of appetizers, salads, seafood, poultry, beef dishes plus desserts and of course, drinks. This time I opted for a light meal and I had the seafood salad as my main. It was a great choice. The seafood tasted so fresh and light, but at the same time delicious. It had shrimps, octopus and squid, plus the greens and red peppers. It also had some potatoes. Husband and I shared calamari for appetizer and the tater tots, they were amazing as other reviews said. They have cheese inside and a crispy warm texture outside. We took the leftovers and even the next day were delicious. Husband had a roasted chicken that was very tasty. He loved it. We will definitely come back."

"We visited the Majestic 5-12-19. Party of 20. Our reservation wasn't ready for 30 long minutes my guests stood and waited- they did give two free appetizer trays for that. The Salmon meal had a HAIR in it, and when we told our waiter he said “ and?” I raised my voice and said theres a 4” hair in my mothers food.... THEN he got her a new plate like it was an inconvenience. THE FOOD was dry, bland and worse than chick filet ..... The salmon was dry and tasteless with a gross sauce on top that wasn’t delectable..The Pasta Tray for $30 was .20 cent of shell pasta under cooked with three tiny cubes of tomato and rotten chards in cheese sauce. Culturally this party was a mix of country people, high class and middle class. They all said the food was absolutely terrible. We spent $800 expecting a treat for these people that came from far away to celebrate my daughters graduation. Most of our food was left uneaten. In addition the down stairs was a great place for my party and it was “ unavailable “ though not used whilst we were there. The way the seats were situated most of our party could not see each other, next time I will search for a place where we can sit to accommodate everyone to visit joke etc.. I did visit the “Affair” a German restaurant.... best food I have ever had! Thats where we should’ve went. And to think they forced 35% gratuity on us..... sickening. Oh and we have several pianist in our group and their piano bar player was not even playing music.... He was just banging away like a 5 yr old. Lol. Comical. I’m sorry Majestic : it’s 1 star for me."
