"We have always had a great experience at Lee's in Mt Sterling, so we decided to give the Richmond location a try. This was a mistake. We ordered a 16 piece strip family meal online and attempted to pick it up at the drive thru, only to be told we had to come inside for online orders. Once inside, we waited 5 minutes before being acknowledged, even though there was no one else ahead of us. After finally being helped, we waited an additional 10 minutes for our food. During our wait, we witnessed another customer who had ordered in store receive the wrong order, but the staff made it right by giving them what they had actually ordered. When we got home, we realized they had given us bone-in chicken instead of tenders. Frustrated, we returned to the restaurant and were able to exchange the chicken for the correct order, despite being initially told they couldn't take it back. The biscuits were overcooked, and they were also out of bonsai sauce. Every employee, with the exception of the drive-thru worker, seemed unhappy. We will not be coming back to this location."

Do not ever go inside. The wait was ridiculous! If you must go, definitely go through the drive-thru. I spent over 35 minutes waiting while people in the drive thru kept passing me up.

Fried chicken was great, both white and dark meat were super juicy and delicious. Green beans, potato wedges, potato pulp and biscuits were also great and delicious. Only the complaint was the Mac and cheese was bland and cold, but everything else was hot and ingenious. Sweet tea was the perfect drink to go with the meal. Will definitely come back!

On the second Wednesday of every month I come to Lee's to get a large order of boneless and bone in wings for my Union meetings, 20 pieces of each with sides. My Union brethren DEVOUR it and have been devouring it for the last 4 years. They love it so much that they don't want food from anywhere else. However, my favorite are the biscuits and the sweet tea. The employees there are always friendly and helpful.
