"Great Whiskey Bar in Manzanita with a large selection of Scotch Whiskey, Bourbon, Rye, AmericanWhiskey, Japanese Whiskey, Irish Whiskey and other spirits. The excellent service from servers describes the various menu items and the specials clearly to make selecting your drink easier. The small set of small plates and hearty bowls, boards and desserts top of the small food menu. Small inside, but there are outdoor tables in front and in the back. The special barrel aged Manhattan was one of the best rendition of this drink I've had for a while."

"My wife and I have visited this restaurant many times, and we stopped by for breakfast on September 11, 2022, after a wonderful stay at the Bunk House Inn. We ordered our meals, along with coffee and juice. When our food arrived, something was missing, so I kindly asked if it could be fixed. The waitress took the plate back but returned and slammed it down on the table as we were thanking her. A few moments later, she brought us the bill and began cursing in Spanish. This caused us to try to leave, but she blocked our way and threatened to call the police. The other customers were visibly shocked by the situation. The other exit was locked as well, but we eventually managed to get out. This waitress should definitely be fired. We left quickly and weren't sure if any other diners left after us, but they looked just as surprised."

"The food here is ok, if a bit bland. Nothing to write home about, but not too expensive and served in a reasonable time. The little that we interacted with the staff showed them to be friendly. They served fresh salads with the meals, which is always welcome. As someone with a pet that loves the beach, it 's always nice to find places that have outside seating to accommodate our family though I wish that the outdoor seating that is marked as designated only for the restaurant actually was served by the staff. They have two outdoor seating sections one walked off area that gets table service and has some shade, but doesn 't allow pets, and one that is for pets and families, but gets meals to go and is allowed to sit at one of four rusty metal tables in the sun. It 's the only place with outdoor seating allowing for pets that doesn 't actually get table service that we found over the three days we were in the area. "The service was great. The space was clean and well decorated. (Did see a layer of dust on a shelf/partition separating the dining area from the kitchen. The food was disappointing. The dressing on the Wedge Salad didn 't taste like blue cheese (the stronger the better dressing; it was more similar to tasting too much anchovie paste (or not mixed well enough for a Ceasar salad. The crab risotto was overcooked and bland. It was not made to order... saw the rice pulled from a prep-tub. The consistency was much like sticky rice and not creamy at all and was a distraction rather than a compliment for the crab. My partner 's rosemary mashed potatoes had way too much rosemary. The first bite was delicious, but then left a greasy lingering film in your mouth as if it were cooked in the same pan as the steak. It was unappetizing. We were excited to have dinner here. Soda came from a can and likely half a can with lots of ice served for $3.50.... Unfortunately, this ONE experience was less than desirable. "To our delight, our food was ready in just 15 minutes. As soon as we picked it up, the aroma was mouthwatering, and we couldn’t wait to return home and dig in. In terms of taste, the food was good but not exceptional—just okay overall. I wasn’t particularly fond of the Huevos Rancheros because they contained refried beans, which I didn’t realize when ordering. The eggs were also a bit overcooked. The French toast was average, although the maple syrup was definitely genuine. However, we really enjoyed the roasted potatoes that accompanied the sandwich and the Eggs Benedict; they were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. We had a lot of leftovers, but we didn’t save any because we didn’t think we’d want more. In summary, if I were to return to Manzanita, I might consider dining at Wanda’s again, but probably not for takeout. I'd be open to trying it again if I were dining in, but I would definitely skip the Huevos Rancheros next time."
