"The staff was rude beyond belief . We had a reservation and they without explanation said sit at bar. The restaurant was empty. When we inquired they said just sit and handed us a menu even though we were supposed to be seated . Bizarrely they had an armed security guard at the door so who knows what they are up to. Never go there. Creepy."

The food is excellent and the portion sizes are generous. However, the menu listed on Open Table is not current, leading to confusion about the prices.

The music was fantastic. The food was delicious. We had a great time with my mom and a friend. We made the drive from Westchester to Brooklyn and it was definitely worth it. View menu

The food was ok so was the service The most annoying thing was that we order a bunch of different things and they brought it all at ones piling up on the table . When we told the guy why don’t you give us time to eat, he gave us a weird look . Why not wait until people are done with appetizers?!! You can do better

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
